With as many religions as there are represented in the US ...
Today why would anyone who is Muslim want to live here?

Isn't it in fact Judeo-Christians vs Muslims?

You can try to say I am wrong but look at what REALLY is going on!
The US has decided that Shia Muslims have to be stopped but Sunni Muslims are Bush's Arab cousins!
No one can see the repulsiveness in this?
I honestly thought humanity had evolved past this "My God is the only way" business!
Is there a rational country where people don't legislate and exist around religion?

I am so disappointed that MY country that I love so much hasn't moved past this foolishness!

"Isn't it in fact Judeo-Christians vs Muslims?"

Not so much in the general population. Bush's main supporters are right wing conservatives....the religious nuts we shall call them. And since this country is made up mostly of christians, he has a wide base to use.

Though, only the right wingers like Bush's statement about god told him to smite Saddam. I think it scared the hell outta the rest of us. Either Bush is hearing voices, or he's trying to implement more religion into politics.

The general populace of America isn't against muslims. That's just what the gov't and/or Bush wants it to appear like.

i'm an Atheist, yet i does no longer say that I 'denounce' faith. That time period looks extremely aggressive. i became raised Christian and had a touch powerful upbringing in the church, yet as a gentle man or woman began to take an interest in the organic international. After years of careful learn and theory (on my own, no longer in college or on the fingers of a mentor), I got here to work out that there became no evidence of a author. it extremely is why i'm no longer a believer. i'd no longer approve of the habit of a few Christians (or Atheists, for that count), yet that has no longer some thing to do with how I stay my existence or why i imagine what i imagine.

To start with, the US is not against "all religions in the M.E.". Go to any US military cemetary and see who died to protect your freedom. You will see thousands of crosses representing Christians, and a few stars of David representing Jews who died for your freedom.
Then read the Koran, making sure to carefully read Surah 4:34 that says men are superior to women and a man should beat his wife. Don't skip 33:50, the verse that says Muhammad could have sex with all the slave girls.
Read the whole Koran, and you will start to realize what Bush is protecting you from even though you hate those who protect you.
Wake up and smell the jihad.

Well for one, the US fought a Sunni regime in Iraq, the only reason they worry about Shiites is due to the influence of Iran.

And no, not everyone thinks that way. Within my group of friends there are Christians, (both Catholic and Protestant), Hindus, Muslims, Jews, and Atheists. It isn't an issue between us because we don't make it an issue. All you really have to do is accept people for who they are and it isn't a problem

what?
Your initial question:
When did God tell the US to denounce all religions in the M.E.?"
Whoever said that God told the US anything? DENOUNCING religions in the Middle East?

'the best I can tell is that you are upset that, BECAUSE the enemy we're fighting happens to be aligned with a religion,.. we're fighting that religion? SO SIMPLE MINDED. You can't make that deduction!

There is probably no way to "work this one out" w/ you. You seem to have your mind made up,.. Oh, and BUSH has come up in your detail,... WHAT has that got to do w/ your original question?,... about "God telling the US,..."

Frustrating it all is!, but rants like yours are of no use to anyone,.. There's not even a POINT here,..

I guess that you at least got to VENT,...

You have this backwards! It is the Extreme followers of Islam who are Publicly Yelling that the only true religion is Islam. Try reading about current events, and you will see that Iran boldly States in Public, that Islam will take over the World, and only those you convert to Islam will be ALLOWED TO LIVE.
You are poorly advised or educated by someone, or something. But if you truly believe what you espouse, then you are allowed in Our Free Country, to move to any other Country of your Choice and Liking.

Stop your cry you wimp! Where is America denouncing other religions? The only thing you here is America condemning the Islamo-fascist who have taken over the Islamic religion. You're quick to blame America for all kinds of stuff aren't you? America first right?

However, we are tolerant. We can live with Christains, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hinduists, etc, etc. In the Middle East, you better be Muslim, or a sword might find its way to your neck. We are the ones that are tolerant. God gave us common sense to denounce the way the Middle East is practicing their religion (I know it is not everybody over there, but it is quite a few.

Many of the Scandanavian countries have adopted a much more rational approach to personal and social life than can be found in the US. And, while many still officially consider themselves Lutheran, in point of fact, most Scandanavians have come to their senses and are now atheists.

WAKE UP SISTER!! Since when have we denounced ANY religion? We denounce extremist groups that like to affiliate themselves with a particular religion, and nothing more. Remember that these extremists would like to see YOU dead too!
