Current state of affairs???
My own personal life is much better today than it was say ten years ago. I really don't have much to complain about.
As far as the war on terror. Nobody else has done squat about it for the past 35 years since the "72" Munich games slaughter.
Ford? Nope. Carter? Nope. Reagan? Nope. Bush Sr.? Nope. Clinton? Nope.
Bush Jr. Yep.
He finally said after 9/11 happened, enough is enough.
I have asked myself if Al Gore or John Kerry had won. Would they have done anything to this scale? I honestly have to answer I really don't think so.
They would have done what Pelosi is doing now. Trying to appease our enemy's by talking to the likes of Syria. Almost a modern day Hanoi Jane.

First of all President Bush takes a stand and does not waver. We may not agree with his stand on a matter but we really respect his honesty and open stance on an issue. There is no doubt and no change in position tomorrow and again the next day!
He does not lie to us. At least from our point of view he does not. You may not agree but that is how his support feels.
He is not out to rob the small businessman out of business like the other politicians who want higher taxes. I ran a small business for several years untill I had a crippling heart attack. to hire a electrical helper and pay a living wage of 7.50 / hr I had to charge a minimum of 27.50/hr to make any profit ant that was a lousy 2.50/hr
7.50 wages, 5.63 social security, 7.50 for workers compensation insurance, 4.38 for liability insurance, and 2.50 for a little profit.
For a small business to be sucessful the owner should see a 30% profit which is 8.50 and would have priced me out of the market. Bush doeas not want more of 9% profit and the rest of them do.
Bush seems to think I have enough sence to run my own life with less government interfearence and the others esp Polosi and crowd think everyone, who does not bow down and kiss the ground they walk on, is mentally incapible of getting dressed correctly much less running our own lives.
Do I need to go on? if so e-mail me. PS I do not think Bush is always right! On some things he screws up by the numbers but those are a lot less than the times he gets it right!

I believe that doing what is right will always trump what is popular. People underestimate the threat that is out there. I am by no means a fear monger, but I do believe, with good reason, that there are people out there that would destroy our way of life. He is standing up for us and our way of life. Contrary to all his bashers saying how stupid he is, one thing that he understands and they don't is that there are some people you cannot be diplomatic with. I love America and all of the freedoms I have. I want to protect her. I will not stand by and try to play nice with those who don't think twice about strapping dynamite to a six year old and telling him to make a martyr out of himself.

Lol.. it's funny to hear that since Bush's supporters reached an all time low of 25%... isn't it amazing.. look it up, it's a fact.
Bush supporters, in my opinion, have either something to benefit from this (someone that works in the war business) or simply support him because he/she doesn't know anything else.

Because President Bush has a difficult job, that he is doing to the best of his ability and doing it well. His plan was and is the only positve option. We must win this war and curtail terrorists ability to inflict harm on our country...No one else has stepped up to the plate...It is the Presidents responsibility and he is handling it in the most responsible manner.

I believe the current state of affairs was brought about by the wimpy liberals who would rather see their friends die in a protracted war than ever, ever label anything a success and let them go home.
