Live in Sav'h, GA, was flooded in home rental(lived in 9yrs), lost so much. City's drainage pumps shut down, home had flooded many times before. So, w/all attorneys in yellow pages, how do you find one that's willing to take on this, w/out having to pay up front? being on disability doesn't give me much $$$ to hire one. Tks, and God Bless for the advice. What are points for on this site also? This happenned past July, Red Cross helped as much as possible, but still trying to make ends meet by paying for lost utilities, all that Red Cross could not cover. Flood house has been sold since then, but know landlord made kickback from Ins. Co., and would like to know if he benefited from any of things we lost from his Ins. Co. and do we have option to sue him also, since we didn't know in beginning that it was a flood home?

to enhance the efficiency and flexibility of our private and public economies;
to widen the benefits of prosperity;
to improve the quality of American lifeLyndon B. Johnson

This seems like an obvious question, but I know from some answers I got on my last question there are people who believe that the U.S. somehow won and I really want to know what the reasoning and backwards logic is there.

I have seen people constantly arguing about whether or not "illegal" immigration has anything to do with race. It does not. The real issue here is classism, the poor are kept down by the rich who only get richer. The whole hate against "illegals" is just a plot by the rich to get the poor working class individuals to hate each other even more. We are all struggling to stay on the same little boat and it's sinking while they ride in their luxury liners. Whether you are legal or illegal, brown, white, yellow, red, you have to realize that all these issues of "illegals" and race is just a way to keep you under the tight control of the rich.

That's my opinion.

It has always been the rich who oppress. The rich spaniards who funded the genocide of the indigenous people of Mexico, central and south america. The rich europeans who funded the genocide of the apache, the kiowas, the cherokees, etc. The rich Americans who continued that genocide. The rich Germans who eradicated the jews.

I'm really starting to believe so from what I have witnessed and heard about during my life. I have been overseas several times and people in other countries seam to live a more peaceful lifestyle. I'm not comparing us to the likes of Africa or a North korea, but of the civilized nations we have a higher crime rate and violence is plentiful. Just go to your local movie theatre and people will flock to see films about torture and murder. Why are people so obsessed with this? If you've been through crap yourself you would learn that it is not good and mostly traumatic and you will live with the scars for your whole life.

ok.. well 4 years ago, I shoplift at Old navy and got caught. ON that day I just turn 18 too. Well On that day, the guy that caught me stealing had ask me to give him any identification card that i had with me. So what i had with me is my 2 years old school ID. I'm not sure if he notice the year on that ID and what he put down but he didn't press charge me going to jail. A cop came in to take me in to get my photo taken and fingerprint only. Then 4 weeks later, a letter was sent to me and I had to go in for an orientation about shoplifting.. so that was pretty much about it. I was glad that I didn't get charge or had to stay in the juvinile hall . that will be so embrassing. So I was wondering if you turn to age 18 will the put you in jail or what. Then it will probably depend on that person who caught you how he wanted to press charge you right? Will it shows on your credit report because I check mine and there's nothing on my background? Please respond...thanks.

I don't understand just what you are trying to do? If you close down circuses, rodeos, and zoos. Where are all the animals going to go? If you don't like the living situations some of them are in why dont you team up with the orginazations and donate some of the money you raise to build nicer facilities instead of bashing them all the time? Do you have a place where you take care of animals? or why dont you spend some money getting the law makers to send them back to the wild? or do you even know it is against the law to send them back?
The bad press makes you look very uneducated.
