9mm Luger with a 4" barrel. Not sure if they carried any specific knife.

The Luftwaffe Pilots were armed with the Luger. Luftwaffe Pilots also carry a dagger. Some of the pilots were armed with gravity knifes.

I heard they had a lugar and an MP-40 in the cockpit with them as well as a knife.
