i got a speeding ticket. the ticket said to pay the fine (which was 150) or go to court by a certain date and time (8:30 in the morning on march 14) i paid the ticket in full on the 14 at noonish online and when i went back to check it online it says case status prior, disposition bail forfiture on 3/14/07. i don't know what that means. any info is greatly appreciated.

That means your day in court came up, 8:30am, on 3/14. Your name is called, and you aren't there. The judge asks if you've paid your fine, the clerk says "No." Now the judge rules that you forfeit your bond (that's what happens when you don't show up for court... in this case, it was probably your license.) And I'll bet you 10 points he issued a bench warrant for your arrest.

When you tried to pay your fine AFTER your court date, the system said "Sorry, your case has already been disposed." THIS is what "prior disposition" means... a ruling has already been made in your case.

Don't believe me on the warrant thing? Walk into police HQ and introduce yourself. See what happens.
