humm.
(and just what is this "support" besides words and flag-waving?)

For the first time in the experience of any living people from the United States, we have sent an all-volunteer military force overseas to advance our interests for a prolonged period, and virtually nothing has been asked of the vast majority of those who do not have loved ones in the line of fire. The bargain is hardly fair.....

.and so, from this end, what else can we do on a grand scale for our troops? (A serious question)

According to the Russian weekly magazine Argoumenty nedeli, a military action will proceed during the first week of April, before Easter catholic and orthodoxe (this year they are celebrated the 8), when the "Western opinion" is on leave. It may be also that Iran is struck Friday 6, public holiday in the Moslem countries. I am looking to see if an employer (especially a government egency) can take your phone off you for security reasons and interogate it's contents such as used numbers, text messages, pictures. Where I work this is a standard practice for persons found on the premises with a mobile phone & i do not think that it is legal.

We just purchased a house and the tenants are on a year lease when we purchased it. The previous owners did not charge the tenants a pet deposit fee. Would we be able to go in there and charge them a pet deposit fee or would we have to wait for the lease to expire? We are in Texas.

Multiple Choice:

a. Invoke the "don't ask...don't tell policy" and gain a deferment?
b. Flee to Canada like their fathers did during Viet Nam?
c.The military will still have strict policies against recruiting mommas boys, bed wetters and nose pickers so many of them will not have to serve.

Why not vote to stop current governmental controls and let the people solve the problems. It is possible to use the older methods of transportation that have been basically outlawed. It is possible to contain sewage in tanks for many years until it is no longer pathegen carrying. It therefore is not necessary to bleach and disenfect the water. I believe there are a ton of useful and excellent things we could do, if the government would give us the freedom to act. Life on the planet could be extended many fold if we were given the legal ability to protect ourselves from pollution. Everyone could have a bank-teller type of delivery tube in their house. Bomb scanning tools would also be used. Reusable food containers would help keep the dump levels down, not to mention the needless profits made off of throwaway containers. We could have a world to take pride in, instead of a world to throw away. Will it take confrontation before our children will be given the legal right to win

I just got out of the movie, and was very impressed by it. I've always been a fan of "war movies" and/or anything with an historic/epic basis, but while I enjoyed this movie, it made me feel quite different. While part of me still wanted to be the brave soldier that dies proudly for his country, another part of me was deeply saddened that this type of thing STILL happens...any similar feelings, or is this just part of me growing up?

Why can't Bush's deeds stand or fall on their own merit or lack thereof?

I was never a fan of Clinton's moral failings, and said so. He was bashed a lot, and not just by Newt.

Let Bush stand and take it. Why isn't he saying "Bring it on"?

I was driving my wheelchair equiped van and was not speeding. I have a handicap logo on my license plate and have dark 2% window tint on all my windows which I have a medical waiver from the DMV for. I was heading to the store and this cop pulls out and turns on his lights. I was not speeding. I continued on because I had to go shoppoing and did not have time for what the officer had to say. I immediately called 911 and told them I was on my way to the store and I have this cop behind me that won't go away and I would like him to because he is interupting the flow of my day. The operator put me on hold and contacted the officer. The operator came back and told me to pull over now. I continued till I got into the supermarket parking lot. I told the operator to tell him i'm disabled and not armed and that I do not have time for a stop and chat. I then hung up. I parked in a handicapped spot and preceded to open my side door for my lift. The cop came over yelling at me.

Ok on Janurary 1, 2007 i was convicted of a minor traffic violation (this was my second violation as a minor) I hired a lawyer to get the second charge dissmissed in court so i wouldn't loose my license; court went over very well the judge dropped the origional charge of "Reckless Diving" to "Improper Driving" which was fine with me b/c i still had my license.....about 2 months later i recieved a letter from DMV saying that b/c i had two traffic violations and i was a minor the my license would be suspended for 90 days (What didn't make any sence to me is that my suspention date satarted on my 18th birthday....so petitioned the courts to ask for a Restricted License....I went to court and the judge did grant me a Restricted Licens to drive to WORK ONLY! I'm a Senior in high school so i asked the judge if i could get a restriction to drive to school and the judge told me that that was not gonna happen. Is there any legal was to get around this?
