Not sure what's happening re Iran right now. The Iraqis have come out and said that the 15 Brits kidnapped by the Iranian Pres Guard were in Iraqi territorial waters. Wait and see. Tony Blair has said today that if Iran do not return the 15 then the situation changes. Notch 2 etc.

It was not my intention to answer this question because you blame Iran without knowing if their act is legal. I wonder would you write get Blair or Bush if those soldiers were in Iranian waters? Anyway i can not blame anyone because i do not know the facts. But, i read what bellyman wrote. This is not the opinion of a realistic man this is the opinion of o coward who knows that he is wrong but just has a lot of power so let's kill from far away. Of course and the Iranians are willing to die because they are fighting for their homeland. What are the Americans and the British soldiers fight for. Inside them they do not know. They fight for some oil companies and for the interests of a few really rich people who do not give a damne for human lifes that is why all soil troops of the US are always defeated in all wars. They fight for the wrong reasons and even unconsciously they know it. At last you people get the power in your hands vote the right people and if they do not exist right now create them and send those killers and criminals who rule your country home.

The Iranians have maybe -- just maybe -- gone too far this time... but it depends on what they actually do with your sailors. If they harm a hair on their heads...

The trouble is that the president of Iran desperately needs a war so he can distract his domestic population from the fact that he's a been a total screw-up. If he gets Iran bombed by being a royal jerk, he gets the Iranian people behind him, and can ensure staying in power for a while longer.

So it should never have happened -- and you wouldn't be in this impasse if the warship Cornwall had defended and rescued its sailors -- but now that it has, your options are sadly limited. Wait and see...

there is not any such element as a conflict "quite" between "Iran and Israel." Iran threatens extremely some the middle East. Iran threatens all Sunni Moslems and organizes and funds killing Sunnis for being Sunnis. Iran threatens all of her gulf associates and claims to "very own" them, as heirs to the Persian empire. Heck, it appears that evidently that needless to say that this week, they only tried to blow up a Saudi diplomat on an same time as he replaced into travelling the u . s . a .. So, extremely plenty the total center east different than for Syria as Hezbollah desires a weaker Iran and could be rooting for Iran to lose ability. some might in user-friendly terms pray for it. some might little question help in some way. I fairly have little question that as we communicate, Saudi princes are mulling over on the lower back of the curtain subject concerns that should "ensue" to the Iranian al kuds guards and each guy or woman else they experience is in charge.

Do not underestimate that Iran could be a pushover for an invasion. They have a bigger Air Force than britain with very well trained pilots. They have a bigger navy than britain, and a very well equipped Army with all the latest weapons. The also have nuclear bombs and missiles which they can use. A lot of people on this moan about the British casualties in Iraq, but you are asking for more casualities by sending an invasion force to Iran. So to help our troops out all those who are willing to join up and invade Iran, Please hold your hands up now!!

We should man the Iraq and Afghan borders with Iran and use our air force and navies to bomb the Iranians. We should sanction everything and anything that goes into Iran and watch it collapse from within. Let all the refugees leave safely until it is only those who support Iran that are left then send in our land forces.

i don't think so... i don't think the USA and the UK will do a land base attack might use air power but we be very silly if we go in to a land attack with IRAN..

don't think IRAN will be as easy as IRAQ..(easy not the word as i am sure it was far from easy)... if we take on IRAN on the land it will be like 10 times worst then IRAQ...

don't for get in the IRAN and IRAQ war IRAN was willing to send every boy/man from the age of 13 up woulds in to battle with no weapons just wave after wave.... IRAN lost 1 million men, are the UK or the USA willing to lose that amount of men, no we are not so could we win a war with them... if they are willing to die and fight to the end...

so no i do not agree.. maybe with a airstrke but that will still bring trouble for troops in IRAQ... but something has to be done..

Why are you asking the british to go against iran for this bad intentions and war mongering and creating conflicts towards countrys,There no money in war .The bomb and gun makers should be tested to see if they are causing the terror to make money from the innocent by turning them against each other.
