Why not vote to stop current governmental controls and let the people solve the problems. It is possible to use the older methods of transportation that have been basically outlawed. It is possible to contain sewage in tanks for many years until it is no longer pathegen carrying. It therefore is not necessary to bleach and disenfect the water. I believe there are a ton of useful and excellent things we could do, if the government would give us the freedom to act. Life on the planet could be extended many fold if we were given the legal ability to protect ourselves from pollution. Everyone could have a bank-teller type of delivery tube in their house. Bomb scanning tools would also be used. Reusable food containers would help keep the dump levels down, not to mention the needless profits made off of throwaway containers. We could have a world to take pride in, instead of a world to throw away. Will it take confrontation before our children will be given the legal right to win

What about cloth diapers? Think about how much more chemicals are flushed into the waste water due to washing them. At least disposable diapers are biodegradable.
According to the book "Rubbish" Several archaeologists and anthropologists went to several landfills around the US and took core samples from the fills. They found phonebook pages from the 1950's. Phone books are made from the cheapest paper possible that are difficult to recycle.
Also recycling paper puts more chemicals into the environment. Very powerful chemicals are used to break down the ink and coloring of the paper.

Stopping Global Warming is easy.. just make it illegal to burn agricultural products and the Global Warming will go away...
What amazes me are the number of people who have been brainwashed by the debunkers hired by the oil companies to put out the nonsense that the level of Global Warming we are experiencing is normal.
The Icecore records show that the earth is the warmest it has EVER been and most of the warmth has been generated in the last 20 years BY MAN... BUT... it's just amazing how many people (mostly americans) who refuse to believe it is happening.

Dude...I totally agree...we must save the surf and the oceans.
I truly wish that a section of our beach could be fenced-off and devoted to enviornmentally friendly projects. People who lived there would be devoted to finding the best and most useful ways to live in pollution-free houses and yet still be constructive members of society that could pride itself in the continuation of the species of human and animal life on our planet. I know how Idiotic this sounds but I am starting to feel that drastic steps are necessary. After all is bought, sold and dumped, why shouldn't we be allowed to save ourselves, when saving is needed.

I agree with you. We as individuals will need to do something. Like california funding their own stem cell research, we'll have to ourselves. Like with hybrid cars, Toyota and Honda led the research and when ford finally started to get its head out of its as*, it started making one. The greedy ****d companies in america won't do a thing until their quarterly reports will show a profit. Which is why all those foreign companies that used to be in the rear view mirror are now in the windshield, pulling away....Most americans just wonder why....

We could make a small difference, but not enough to change it's natural course. But i hear politicians have a plan, they want to tax you and control your habits....i've always wanted to be a slave.NOT!
