Why is it that the USA has to purchase oil from other countries when we have one of the largest off-shore oil refineries right here. It's been locked up for over 20-25 years, with the high prices of oil isn't it about time we open it up and use our own resources while we develope other means of energy?

Chuck Hagel may be dumber than he looks. He says Bush risks impeachment because the president bucks the will of the people on the Iraq war. What will of the people? Bush won in 2004. If Hagel means polls on the war, the polls show a divided country...you can't impeach a president for ignoring polls, which are guesses projected from 600 or so phone calls.

Can he be enrolled in the USA, Canada? Can he register in either or both countries? This has become a huge problem for him in regards to education and things like being able to own and posses eagle feathers. He is Sliammon First nation. But was born in Idaho. How does he get recognition as a native in the USA?

My two grandsons were adopted from Russia. It is no secret, in fact the parents have already started telling the 3 year old about where he came from. But we have been warned that adopted children are treated differently, especially in school. It is really non of their business whose womb a pupil came from! It is illegal to ask race or gender on job aps, but are similar questions legal on school forms?

I live in Massachusetts and I need documents stating an employer cannot just give me an hour a day and that she has to give me at least 3 hours a day (which she hasn't been doing anyway.) Any other laws on her not laying me off because she doesn't want to pay unemployment would helpful too. I was fulltime before this and because there isn't work for me to do my hours have gone down steadily since end of Jan. Just today she told me to come in for just an hour a day....which is an unreasonable reporting requirement considering I have to drive at least 15 miles to get there. She told me to resign or work the 1 hour a day shift and she will not lay me off. I need this info so I can call my office manager tomorrow and let her know I will be reporting them to the attorney general if they do not meet proper hour/wage requirements.

I am in the army and i renlisted to reclass to MP i am about 1 week out leaving for MP school. I got in a arguement with my wife about 3 weeks ago and mps got called and i got charged with simple assualt.. But i have no court date and nothing else was said to me about it since. Its like it never happened.. I am still set to go to school and i am currently going through clearing and leaving for school. Is that going to affect me. Should i mention it to anyone or should i just keep quite?
