Generally speaking, it is a meeting of members of a political party or subgroup to coordinate members' actions, choose group policy, or nominate candidates for various offices.

It's a group of people who vote together on some issue in the same way. Usually certain political parties have individual caucuses like a Black caucus or Hispanic caucus, or gun rights caucus etc,
