Wyoming, with a population somewhat smaller than DC, like every state, has two senators. Why is DC not entitled to representation in the Senate? How about including DC in the state of Virginia for the purposes of senatorial elections. Or split the district in half and have half vote in Maryland and half in Virginia?

The District of Columbia and the city of Washington are coextensive and are governed by a single municipal government. For most practical purposes, they are considered to be the same entity, though this was not always the case. As late as 1871, when Georgetown ceased to be a separate city, there were multiple jurisdictions within the District. Although there is a municipal government and a mayor, Congress has the supreme authority over the city and district, which results in citizens having less self-governance than residents of the states. In addition to lacking full self-governance, the residents of the District also lack full congressional representation.

The District is not a state and therefore that area does
not have any Senators. The Senators represent all the
other states. There's enough crazies in DC now, so I
dont think we need to drum up any more.

Sam ... None ... Washington, D.C. is not represented in the U.S. Senate. As a federal enclave and in accordance with the Constitution, the District is not considered a state and therefore has no elected representative in the Senate. Unless the Constitution is amended, that's the way it's going to be.
