Why are the Democrats so concerned with individual rights and liberty? Just shut up and do what Bush tells you.

Say Joe is elderly and has dementia. And say Bob is distantly related by marriage. Bob was originally going to share a small portion of Joe's estate, as outlined in the will and life insurance policies that Joe drafted before getting sick. But since Joe developed dementia, Bob has influenced Joe to change his will and life insurance beneficiaries so that Bob will get half of everything. It's clear that if Joe were lucid, he would not have wanted this.

I know that this is undue influence, but is there anything criminal in what Bob is doing?

Ive been scheduled to have a meeting with the local HUD/housing officials. It's an extremely important meeting. I requested a sign language interpreter. I called the independent company I was told to and requested an interp.
Just heard back from them. There are no interps avilable for me on the meeting on Wed. They have RESCHEDULED ME for April 11th. They didnt have my permission to reschedule.

I am furious. I feel like I am being shuffled around like a piece of furniture and my appointements are being changed to suit everyone else. I say I have final say in ALL aspects of my life and nobody changes my life without my permission.
Isnt there a rule about the federal gov needing to provide an interp within like 45 minutes?

It would seem to me that attorneys should be given fixed terms of say six years and that there should be a rotating appointment where all of them cannot be appointed at one time. And they cannot be fired without due process.

Without something more...basically it gives the Executive branch the ability to investigate and shut down investigations at will.

What do you think?

I wrote a check to a Wal Mart back in late 2001 that bounced. Because I was laid off from my job in the airline industry right after, I was unable to pay the check until Wal Mart had a warrant put out for me. I found this out when I went to the store to pay it back in early '02. I paid the fees, and restitution to the courts and plead guilty to simple worthless check. My question is, does a misdemeanor such as this get expunged from my record after a certain period of time, or do I have to ask to have it expunged. This has affected my ability as of late to apply for a few jobs that had nothing to do with handling any kind of money. Serious answers only please. Thanks.

Could we ever have world peace? Is it possible? I would prefer if you explained, why you think that.

Personally, I don't think, with all the violence around, whether it be a suicide bomber in Iraq, or a gang in the Bronx, I would hold my breath on it.

Clinton assumed that all 93 US attornies were NO GOOD since a Republican had hired them. Since NO GOODNESS is 10-20 times more rampant among Godless, hedonistic, reprobate,abortion-loving, etc Democrat non blue dog Zell Miller types...WHY NOT?

Is it "Real Estate Para-legal"--who's proud that he's too stupid to be a real lawyer? (He likes doing chores for his superiors!) Or is it "Duck"--who says Bush is a great President because his daddy will spank him if he doesn't? Btw--Duck's family calls him Duckhead. Which ryhmes with what he really is...

I look at burning our flag as inciting violence the same way as if the KKK started burning pictures of MLK, or any other public display that incites violence. Be warned burn our flag and expect the worst. screw your rights.

All of you sheep out there singing the praise of your king GWB lets look at some of the things that he wants shall we?

Do away with social security; take all of the money I have pumped into the system over my working life and do what? He won't give it back to me.

Do away with overtime pay; that automaticly elemnates the 40 hr work week, if you don't work the hours that I say then your fired.

Do away with malpractice and corperit liabilty; now we can market any piece of crap no matter how dangerious and we don't have to worry about any lawsuites.

Tap all phones and open all snail and electronic mail; because everyone is the enemy.

Hello!

My fiance and I have a problem and don't quite know where to start.

I am from Germany and live in the US and have the greencard.
My fiance is dutch and lives in Holland.

We want to be together and are looking for a way to enable him to come over here and work here.
We spoke to a few people and the conclusion seems to be that a company here in the US must want to hire him and apply for a working Visa for him.

Does anyone have ANY idea on how we could get started?
Which company would go through the extra trouble of applying for a working Visa?

My fiance has a Masters In Urban Planning from the University of Amsterdam, but after that started working in varies offices. He has worked for Insurance companies, has worked in connecting companies with clients and the other way around, and some of his positions included assitant responsibilities, and he is familiar with all the normal office computer programs (ie, excel, word, and so on)

Who would you personally vote for as President? I am undecided, but I think that the Democrats will likely win the White House, what with George Bush's impact on the American people...

I do not personally have any ties toward either party. Just wondering who you think is the best candidate and why.

Thank you in advance.
