i quit my job of 5 years in a jail because of a confirmed case of hostile work environment. One month after i quit i find out that now my ex employer is investigating the "department" in which i worked, ok i'm not stupid, they're investigating me and they're investigating an accusation of falsifying documents. I still have allies in the jail. The leader of this accusation? My former supervisor, the one that was harrassing me. I get it, i understand the whole retaliation thing. I was asked to come down and give a statement, we talked for about 1 1/2 hours, never being recorded, no notes taken only my miranda rights. Finally the cop shows me 2 pieces of paper i signed and asks me how the mistakes could have occured, i tell her. Now, weeks later nothing. i called the cop today and she tells me she cant tell me anything. Heres the kicker i was never told why i was there, never accused of anything but she cant tell me whether i'm a suspect or is the department? do i have the right to know?

I heard him ranting and raving--did he serve his country? I am a Vietnam Vet and I still remember the same type of blithering weasels who were all for the War-but never picked up a weapon.

I prefer that civilians answer this questions if they don't know anyone in the military. This is for my term paper, and I need to know the thoughts of civilians on how they think military dependents are raised.

----- I'm writing an argument paper. Born and raised in the military life, I already have enough experience to write about my life as a dependent. I need opinions from the civilian POV (either good or bad) so that I can write about their standpoint. Please, this is an argument paper. If you have to, BE BRUTALLY HONEST!

Ever since I was 4 and watching the Cops and Worlds Wildest Police chases I've wanted to be a police officer. I want to go to Miami. I am currently in the 9th and I plan to go to College Of Criminology and Criminal Justice there. Is there any advice or hints on how to get through college and what to expect or what's going to be the hardest subject that I'll have to work my hardest in?

For example, Scott Peterson was convicted of second degree murder of his unborn child. Which states, or governments, have laws or court precedent allowing someone to be convicted of 2 murders if they kill an unborn child?

Sources are most appreciated!

I for one, am not going to blow a gasket every time the government does something stupid. That is what they do, and it does not matter who is in office, a democrat or republican.

There are people who make wild comments about the issues, when they would never even stand a chance in a political position.

I know that there are many who think they would make better decison than who is there now, but you do not know the whole situation of why that decision was made.

What I do know, is that Hilary Clinton should not be president. She is completely fueled by her image.

My husband is currently deployed to Afgan. for the year. When he returns he will only have a year left before he can get out of the army. He is infantry. This is also his 2nd deployment. He has been in the service for 6 years now. If he was to decide not to re-enlist....what other careers could he concider? He loves doing the whole front line-security thing. Anyone have any ideas?

Neo-cons give the GOP ALL of the credit for the great times of the 90s yet they exault Reagan with no mention of his Dem congress.

Is this hypocrisy, or am I missing something here?
