Neo-cons give the GOP ALL of the credit for the great times of the 90s yet they exault Reagan with no mention of his Dem congress.

Is this hypocrisy, or am I missing something here?

Please explain

Hit the nail right on the head. If any positive comes out of it got to be because of republicans, Not because two parties were able to work together for what's best for the country!!

You're oversimplifying things...

Many Democrats in congress in the 80's were much different than ones after the Republicans took power in 1994. Most southern districts elected conservative democrats who were republican in all but name.

And honestly, Clinton's first 2 years under democratic congress were a flop. The GOP realignment of 94 was the best thing that happened to his presidency... he was forced to turn away from the liberal slant of his wide (and other advisors) and become more of a moderate on some issues.

Why do you lable anyone who does not agree with you a neo-con ?

Edit: Almost everything you post is an attack against a wide range of the political spectrum not just neo-cons. You use neo-con for everything and everyone your opposed to. You lose alot of credibility for the point your trying to make. You have made some very valid points but most just dismiss you because of the way in which you present them.

Skippy, the country's direction changed dramatically when Newt and the Republicans took over after the country had 2 years of Clinton and the Dems.

Example: No HillaryCare at the cost of a zillion dollars.

Feel free to praise Reagan's Congress, whoever they were. I won't stop you.

But if you intend to give Clinton praise that is due to the neocon (yes, folks, true definition here) Congress, I will set the record straight.

And all you late-comer Liberal Bush-bashers do not get to change a defined term that was already in existence. Bush is no neocon.

No, you're not missing anything, it's hyocrisy. To be honest though, I don't know why people keep voting for the same two parties and their candidates in the first place. We just keep getting more of the same crap either way.
