I would make many changes. Among them I would create a "recall amendment" so that Senators, Congressmen and Presidents are not above being reconsidered by the voters if they indulge in extremely unpopular behavior, betray campaign pledges or are found to have been elected by chicanery and involved in corruption. Just plain lying should be an issue for recall. Most other Western developed world democracies have such provisions.

I would abolish the 2nd and 3rd Amendments as archaic and destructive. There is no need for organized militias or housing of troops by private citizens.

I would abolish other amendments as well;;;among them the presidential limitation. Why shouldn't the people be able to lect whom they want as long as they want? That amendment was passed by a disgruntled GOP after FDR died.

But there are many many out-dated and stupid provisions in the US Constitution which were designed to oppose British royal rule.

I would have an amendment that would put gov't assistance to good use... like to get people like Emma there some professional help.

Seriously though... the main things I can think of is I would limit the courts role in lawmaking. No more lawmaking from the bench, that eliminates our vote and the vote of those that we've voted into office. The supreme court has been given way too much lattitude there.

And there has to be a lower limit on taxation. By the time I pay income taxes, sales taxes, and property taxes the govt. has more of my money than I do. It's discouraging to say the least.

1) I'd strictly limit presidential war powers without congressional oversight.
2) I'd limit Supreme Court justices to ten- year terms.
3) I'd enlarge the Senate to four per state. Then, I'd reorganize the US into 15-20 states instead of 50.
4) I'd make the voting age 24.
5) I'd revisit the specifics of the Income Tax.

I'd give the President a line-item veto. That would put an end to the pork.
