I'm really starting to believe so from what I have witnessed and heard about during my life. I have been overseas several times and people in other countries seam to live a more peaceful lifestyle. I'm not comparing us to the likes of Africa or a North korea, but of the civilized nations we have a higher crime rate and violence is plentiful. Just go to your local movie theatre and people will flock to see films about torture and murder. Why are people so obsessed with this? If you've been through crap yourself you would learn that it is not good and mostly traumatic and you will live with the scars for your whole life.

Most of these other countries have little to say in their government. Many of them, like France and Germany, have few "rights" for their people. Americans have more rights than any other nation and there is the chance, if you get out and work, you can reach any goal you want. Example, Bill Cosby, Oprah, Bill Gates, Howard Hughes, Ken Hamlin, all started out with nothing, and with hard work and desire, have made a name for themselves.

Some are Millionaires, and at least one, a multimillionaire. Is the US Barbaric??? Look at Sudan, Somalia, Lebanon, Syria, China during Tienanmen Square, North Korea just to name a few.

If America was so Barbaric, we would carpet bomb Iraq instead of using smart bombs and missiles to hit only key targets. We would shot anyone who looked suspicious, instead of talking to them to find out if they are friends or what ever.

I always invite people who don't like the way we do business here, to pack their stuff up, and leave. That simple. Move to Mexico or Canada. But don't come crawling back when your so called" rights" in these countries are not there.
