The current plot by the democrats is to discredit any and all republicans. The Gonzales thing about federal judges is a prime example. This is their plan "A" at the run for the presidency. Make everyone hate the republican party so incredibly (and I use the term literally) much that they will vote for anything other than a republican. Seems to be working. Meanwhile, Al Whore err, I mean Gore, is working on Plan "B." And that plan is to distance himself as much as humanly possible from both the Clintons and his failed attempt at the presidency and all of the whining the more intellegent of us so vividly recall. He is making milage by jumping on the band wagon of "Global Warming." This is also an attempt to establish some credibility which he lost with both the Clintons and the failed election attempt. Plan B isn't to get the Whitehouse in '08, but in '12. It's like a good game of chess, you have to think five moves ahead of your opponent. Gore's a politician and ALL politicians lie. They (he) will tell you whatever you tell him you want to hear to get your vote. Global Warming is not new. Nor is it made by mankind. Typically, most people are too caught up in the here and now of their own little world to think it through in the BIG picture (Democrats and Iraq, prime example). Case and point, Dinosaurs -- Ice Age -- Present Warming Climate (fluxuating, for decades, they thought we were headed for another Ice Age)... So, thinking Al through just a little. If you were a politician in this country, what would be your greatest achievement? The presidency. How best to get there after you got caught up in all of the Clinton scandals and the Florida election troubles? Reestablish credibility, come at it from an angle no one expects. Take your time and do it methodically and correctly. Yes, Al is running.

more effective issue: will the US lose the warfare on terror? Gore received't win the warfare, he doesnt have the brass. the accepted majority balloting block is toddler boomers, and they are rightly deeply worried over nationwide safe practices. that's extra in all probability that Al Gore is promoting his movie to make funds.

That's like saying GWB will attack Iran and invoke martial law to postpone the election.

If you saw Inconvenient Truth, the reasonings behind his plight for the corrections to the current pollution policies of our world are described as a personal mission that is based on scholarly knowledge without any inferrence to political gain.

It's just a sad attempt from a failed politician.

Global warming won't be a concern in a year just like the democrats complaining abut the crackdown on illegal immigration.

No, I have a feeling he wouldn't run.
Only because Hillary is and it will be awkward to run against her.

His ongoing message against global warming is not a 5 minutes thing.
He's been doing this since the 70's.
