Bush's legacy will be the Iraq quagmire (WMD's?), the Katrina fiasco, torture, huge deficits, protecting corporate corruption (Halliburton, Exxon, etc.), politicizing the Justice Department and the Supreme Court, and lack of personal integrity (lies). The only thing he hasn't done is have sex with a woman in the White House. Why does the Religious Right still support this fraud?

You know, those of us in the mushy middle used to sit back and watch the polarized fringes scream at each other. It was lots of fun. Now, we're all polarized and at each others throats. You've got to be on the left or the right. You can't just sit in the middle and embrace some parts of each ideology. HEL NO!! That would be thinking for yourself! That's not allowed anymore. Anyone else remember?

Seriously?

How pathetic does someone have to be to think like that?

Norma McCorvey a.k.a. "Jane Roe" has been pro-life since 1995. Her transformation was downplayed by the media. When she made her change-over, Norma was villianized and deemed psychologically unstable by rabid pro-choice supporters. She wrote a book, "Won By Love" that describes her journey to the other side. Did anyone remember this event?

Why do Americans hate Mexicans, yet they travel to Mexico and go on vacation? Should Americans be considered illegally there, therefore be deported and be treated like the Mexicans get treated in America?

Is Life Really Trial and Error?
i seem to recall hearing the phrase, ''learn from your mistakes'' alot, and also alot of'' we all learn from the past'', well do we? do we really learn from the past? i would of at least thought george bush would of learned that this iraqi war is part and parcel bad news all the way.
im reminded this has been said before but its cause for concern when the same apparant mistake happens once, twice, three times, or however many mistakes we have to make to find a positive.
i can admit that some of my own mistakes are born out of fear, rash thinking, and general reckless-ness, but NEVER have i do so to the point im endangering human life or society itself.
so if this life truly is trial and error, is this the last time the presidents of the united states will learn of the error of george bush.
and for that matter concerning worldwide global affairs, i sincerely hope tony other learn from this as well, Great Britain Being the main character here.

Dem Dean admits to major felony.

Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean has been meeting with world leaders to repair "the extraordinary damage" that the Bush administration has done to America's image and to prepare the way for a new Democratic president.
"I am trying to build relationships with other governments in preparation for a Democratic takeover," Dean told me. "I want to make clear that there is an opposition in America and that we are ready to take power and that when we do, we are going to have much better relationships with them."

Federal law:
Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both. This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply, himself or his agent, to any foreign government or the agents thereof for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects.

We live in a post 9-11 era, and it is an uneasy climate for those who endeavor to keep American interests afloat.
We are slowly sinking like a flooded boat. We are being dragged down by the illiberal, small minded people who think there is a way to appease those who wish and plot for our destruction.
The American military has it's hands tied in Iraq thanks to Bush. The recent troop surge only means more and more of the same. The rules of engagement have barely changed and it seems as if U.S. troops can only fire when fired upon.

There are radical Islamic militants constantly plotting to murder, kill, be-head, blow-up, defame, and destroy the West.

So I am asking "What are people doing to fight against the threat of global jihad?"

Remember the words of the five-term senator Barry Morris Goldwater:

"Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice!"

I got a simple solution: give them what they want. How about we NOT help out the world, because I hate people who have their hands out and with the same breath is criticizing the government giving them money. We could be using that money instead to strengthen our country and to hell with the haters.

I'm sure some of you have seen this site:
http://www.zombietime.com/
though I've just viewed it for the first time. I am reasonably confident that the vast array pf pictures are real. So these people genuinely exist, in San Francisco at least. They are not liberals. They do not speak for liberals. They do not hold liberal beliefs. They do not represent mainstream liberal thought in any way. I don't know what I would call them, but the right needs to understand that these people constitute a tiny minority of a tiny minority. I'm afraid that most conservatives see these images and think that they represent mainstream liberal thought. Real liberals would never suport a message that brings shame and dishonor to the United States. Real liberals dislike fundamentalist muslims just as much (if not more) than they dislike the Bush administration. Just because Bush is in the wrong does not mean that muslim terrorists are in the right. These people are freaks.
