Today, as I washed my truck at a local car wash I stepped on the drain cover that runs underneath the vehicle I fell into the dirty water and have a bruised hip. Ok a man saw me & helped me back to my feet. Now this is the weird part about 7 years ago a similar thing happened to me at yes the same car wash. Should I retain an attorney and sue?

Is it really neccessary to have the FBI, DEA, ATF, Homeland Security, Border Patrol, Secret Service and whoever else? Wouldn't it make more sense to have just one big agency cover everything?

How can it be reformed? What would be done if it is abolished? And why is it a better idea to reform/abolish it?

Could the government's global warming panel datamine the internet and media sources for the largest scale most economically benificial ways to reduce global warming emmisions they could directly implament through legislation to ban and phase out and replace all carbon dioxide producing technology and to incentivize and phase in newer cleaner replacement technology that currently exsists just waiting to replace that technolgy that's causing the problem?
It would, of course, make sense to start with the solutions that will reduce the largest percent of emmisions while being the most benifical to the economy at the same time first and then working away from that point as they look for the most attractive solutions and work there way towards the least.
Wouldn't this solve the problem while saving money and making money at the same?
Would taking the enviroment and economy into acount and comming up with actions that are benificial to both make both parties happy?

I have made three payments on a car to a private seller. We had a verbal agreement that there would be no time limit for how long it took me to pay it off. We agreed I would get the car when I paid it off. I have receipts for the payments made. He said he was going to sell the car to someone else, and I would not get my money back. Legally, can he do this? If he does, what can I do about it?

In the Senate, Republicans easily turned back Democratic legislation requiring a troop withdrawal to begin within 120 days.

The measure set no fixed deadline for any troop withdrawls, wishful thinking on the part of Queen Pelosi and King Reid.

The will not get even close to the 60 votes they need in the senate.

They don't have the votes, they can't get the bill passed, so why act like they care about what happens with the troops.

'Time' magazine is doing a cover story on how conservative values and policies have faded in American politics?

Which of the presidential candidates benefit from that?

I say Fred Thompson -- who can stand out as a recognizable, Reagan conservative.

Is there a site where I can find a record of bills or things like that from vice presidents or presidents. Like if I wanted to find out what kind of things President Bush or Al Gore have tried to do about a certain issue. Any help is appreciated!

i don't really understand why the two are linked together.

if it costs so much for the county to operate, than just because the value of land goes way up doesn't mean it all of a sudden costs more to operate.

example, running a garbage truck in an area that a house costs 20K. now the houses are worth 40k one day, does that mean it costs more to operate the garbage truck?

i use to live in south florida where the property values and taxes skyrocketed, yet all i heard more and more is how broke the country was. my house payment went from 750 a month to over 1100 a month in less than 3 years, though i wanted to live there, i couldn't afford it.

why do they do that?

i would think they would sit down, see how money is required and then tax from there.
