I heard from school that when you're 16 years old, you can leave your parents' house and not get in trouble for it or it won't be considered running away. Is that true? If not, besides, emancipation, what can you do that is legal to get out of your parents' house?

Already the conservative leader has made a mess of trying to get the nation on his side with his barmy illegal vat on aircraft kerosene. Not thought this one out have they.

And yes we all know they have to do something about Global warming "Yawn" whatever next ?

Come on lads and girls wake up and smell the coffee get some real positive stuff going or it will be back to labour and personally I could not take that again I'm Off.

Where has the get up and go gone???? All we seem to see is someone mulling around in their garden almost as though thats the place to go to think up the next thing the nation may like.

It is admirable that they choose to make a better life for themselves by coming to live and work in the world's greatest nation. However, would it be too much to ask that they do so in a legal and documented manner?

We all know that the USA is God's country, we are truly blessed to live in such a great and perfect country. What I'm wondering is since other nations look towards us to provide moral leadership, and also the fact that God is being increasingly hated elsewhere, what can we do to reverse this trend.

Thanks,
Richard from Arlington, TX USA

at first, i believe that it was osama laden who's the mastermind of the 911 incident, but after reading and watching some research, i was confused! did osama really hit the twin tower?? or other people who plotted the hit so that they have the green light and can begin to invade muslims countries by using the reason "we're doing this (the war) to find the culprit" but actually they right now are laughing behind our back?? if osama did planned then i think that he's insane cuz people've been chasing him like ****, no different than digging his own grave, but if it was other side who did it, then i certainly believe because the result is now! in front of our eyes!! women and children were raped and killed. innocents were treated the way they don't deserve it and seems like their lives worth nothing!! are these called humanity??!

I always wonder if they will ever be able to win without working to capture local support. I believe instead of destroying and fighting with fire, they should approach on foot and focus on re-building, to win over local support. This was evident in the strategies used by Britain and Australia. Jim Richards(on) a british NATO commander worked on rebuilding, however the americans were angry with him and forced him to hand over the town he controlled. He had brokered a ceasefire with the Taliban for 4 months. on the first day under American command, the Americans kicked down local gates and doors in the search for Taliban, upsetting locals, bringing the Taliban back into action, with a full-on firefight. and the town was lost to the taliban by the end of the day. comment.

I should like to begin with a quiz. What prominent person said the following:

“There is an absolute necessity of waging all-out war against the debauching of the environment. The bulldozer mentality of the past is a luxury we can no longer afford. Our roads and other public projects must be planned to prevent the destruction of scenic resources and to avoid needlessly upsetting the ecological balance.”

The most frequent guesses are: Al Gore, Barbra Streisand, and Ralph Nader

The answer is: Governor Ronald Reagan, in 1970

Conservatives tend to reject extreme environmental policies that destroy industry in favor of marsh insects, scrap fish, and obscure birds. They reject the idea that animal life trumps human life. However, conservatives also hate waste and destruction and want to conserve the environment.

The origional Conservation movement began on the Right. Unfortunately today, the shrill apocalyptic brand of environmentalism (i.e. Al Gore) has won out...for now.

Hope someone can help me.

We purchsed tickets for a Lionel Richie concert for 24th March on a website called Ticket Tout. We received a letter this weekend stating that Ticket Tout had gone into Adminstration and we would no longer recieve our tickets (which we paid near on £200 for three for) and we'd also not be getting our money back, we could try but it was highly unlikely we would!...the letter had no header so it didnt look like it came from a company but stated court case numbers etc, so we assumed it was genuine...We are are so annoyed, we muct be able to do something???

has anyone else has this with this company this weekend?? Also I just went onto their websire and it doesnt say anything and they seem to still be selling tickets???

We currently live in the uk, my husband is South African and I am Scottish, and we have a 4 month old little girl. My husband is due to apply for Indefinate Leave to Remain in May, and I have a gut feeling that his application will not be approved as they refused his application 2 years ago and although the criteria is about to change for this particular visa, Im not sure if we will meet the requirements. We would rather not move to South Africa and have been talking about New Zealand, but have no idea how to go about getting visa for us especially my hubby as he is South African. The company he works for are also in New Zealand, so it may be possible that he get a transfer so that at least he would have work when we get there!
