From the evidence we've heard it is without doubt that Cheney was the instigator but for it to go that high I think Bush must have also, at least, been aware of what was happening.

He has a history of going to court to get his wife to accept his mistress sleep overs.
What if he is president and he demands the same?

My brother and his ex-wife share legal custody of their two children. My brother has sole physical custody, and she gets them on weekends. My brother is on disability and, as such, the kids are on Medicaid. Their mom refuses to work, pay child support, or carry them on "real" insurance. My problem is, both kids are in need of extensive orthodontic treatment and, as of right now, I am paying for everything out of pocket and both parents have refused to help. I'd like to be able to carry them on my insurance so that at least some of the cost would be covered, but I DON'T want custody of the kids. Is there a way to either get a limited guardianship JUST for insurance purposes, or to get a court order stating I am responsible for insurance coverage? Please, no lectures about how this is not my responsibility and what a loser my brother and his ex are. All I'm interested in is finding out whether or not I can get them on my insurance, either through probate or domestic relations. Thanks..

Hicks will be first up in court in 12 days time. This is going to be a ripper of a legal battle. The High court of Australia has ruled that
the Australian Government has a case to answer over the handling of Hicks and it is on.The separation of powers of the judiciary and the executive is quite different here in Australia than it is in the States.

Now the U.S. Attorney General, and thus this administration, is intimidating and firing U.S. Attorneys who do not tow the party line of this administration. Congressional hearings are under way where it is coming out that sitting politicians are calling U.S. Attorneys at home and asking about certain sealed indictments. For those of you not familiar, this act is unprecedented.

Just how corrupt can this administration get? All sorts of rocks are being lifted on this despicable group. God help America. The Cheney/Bush administration is looking more and more like homegrown terrorists.

What was the US Democratic Party Slogan aimed at the somewhat untrustworthy figure of Richard Nixon in the 1968 presidential election which has since passed into common usage?

I originally thought it was 'Would you buy a used car from this man?' but I think that was from the 1960 election.

There is a scandel brewing in Texas of long known and ignored sex abuse in homes for wayward pre-teen and teen age boys in Texas. This is said to have been going on for quite a while. Did Tom Delay and/or George W. Bush, when he was Governor of Texas, know about it?

as a washington insider it is well known here, but things like this have been going on since politics began, so people thinks its par for the course. how would the religious feel about this, and would it hurt his zombie like support base?

Let's play what if for a few minutes. Let's say the media coverage for WW II was the as it is For Iraqi Freedom or even Vietnam. Would we have stayed in as long as we did? In WW II, before Normandy, Allied Forces invaded Sicily, Italy. The US had 2,237 killed and 6,544 wounded and captured. That was from July 1943 to August 1943. 407,300 in all action in WW II (1939 to 1945). No real out cry for withdrawl In Vietnam; U.S. killed in action, died of wounds, died of other causes, missing and declared dead - 57,690 (1959 to 1975). Huge Cry for withdrawl (We Cut and Run) Now, in Iraq, U.S. Casualties number 3,135 as of 17 Feb. Another Huge outcry for withdrawl. We also can look at lots of other examples in recent history, but these are the Major points. Now look at Media: In WW II it took atleast a couple of days to reach US public. In Vietnam, about a day (sometimes less). In Iraq, almost instantly. Do you see a link

Say I have a husband in prison. He has been Diagnosised bi polar II. After 6 years of marriage I would know..... Anyway, the medicines they gave him have made him unable to use his left hand and have use of his left eye. He is just now able to eat regularly, after abought three+ months. They change his medications with out his knowledge and with out him knowing what he is taking. He is trying to get out on time. If he makes any waves, like not taking these pills, he will not get out on time!!!
Does he have rights?
What can I do?
Can I sue the Prison?
ACLU?
Lawyer?
Please reply with links
Thank you

I bought an item from a store for my sons birthday - it wasnt suitable. I tried to take it back, in the original bag with labels still attached and in original condition. I just want an exchange - not a refund. I have lost my receipt and paid cash (it was only 4 days ago) but the store will not let me exchange the item. I have emailed their head office, and am getting the same response. It is a big national store, and i'm sure I am within my rights to demand an exchange.

The assistant was more or less implying I could have stolen the item!!! If I had, why would I be asking for an exchange and not a refund?

Does anyone know the law regarding proof of purchase?

and allow illegals to pour into the country at an accelerated rate. This is rape of the US taxpayer. I have been alive 48 years and this is the most blatent thing the government has ever done against it's citizens. I have zero respect for any govt. official who is for "comprehensive reform" which means amnesty. Our govt is just as corrupt as the Mexican govt. which is world famous for it's corruption. Instead of requiring taxpayers to pay for the services they require such as free medical/hospital care, foodstamps, housing and schooling why don't the Kennedys, Mccains, Bushs, and every single politicial who is for comprehensive reform pay for this with their own wealth. Let's lower income tax and have a wealth tax instead- and tax the Catholic church while were at it. Does anybody have any idea how to stop this mad govt. of ours from continuing the rape of the US citizen? Northerners and people in isolated areas you have no idea how serious this issue is.
