The Murdoch fundraiser for Hillary Clinton - under the radar
Reported by Chrish - July 18, 2006 - 47 comments

David Swanson reports in OpEdNews.com that

"On Monday, July 17, 2006, at Fox News headquarters in New York City, Rupert Murdoch hosted a fundraiser breakfast for Hillary Clinton. Then he rushed off to a fundraiser lunch for John McCain, and Hillary rushed off to announce her unqualified support for Israel's and Bush's war policies.

Here's a one-sentence paragraph about Murdoch's Breakfast for Hillary as buried at the very end of a New York Times story on Tuesday: "At a separate event yesterday, Mrs. Clinton also won support from another onetime critic-turned-ally, Rupert Murdoch, the owner of The New York Post, who was the host of a political fund-raiser for her in New York City.".........."

It seems that the US government is doing as it pleases despite the opinions of the people. There have been endless claims of corruption against the US government and businesses in the past years and hardly anyone or any business is being investigated and tried for these crimes. Looking at this from abroad it seems to me that justice in America is no better than that here in Asia. I don't see justice or democracy working properly there in the US. Are Americans becoming passive followers like the people here in Asia where justice is only for the rich and connected?

I was stationed there from 78 - 82. Worked in the 44CSG orderly room. Used to frequent the back room at the club!

I went through a rental company here in AZ and found this house, however everyone is most likely 55 and older. Anyways to get to my point my neighbors look at me like I am an alien. (2) I have recieved a letter explaining that I cannot walk my dogs in a certain area...even though I clean up after their mess. (2) I just recieved a letter that my yard was very untidy. However, I clean it at least once a week. Yes, it could get a little untidy but geez. I have two dogs and work up to 14 hours daily. My neighbors have not once said one word to me....at least the ones to the left. The neighbors to the right I always talk to and they never have anything bad to say.

Well, What I'm really getting at is should I even be living in a 55 and older community since I'm only 25? PLUS! I just looked at a "renters" list and the community that I'm living in has 2 homes available but they state "55 and older community" (this is from the rental company that I go through"

Ok. I have a new one.

The 2 major political parties are like parents.

The democrats are like one's mother. Always the one who kissed boo-boos, tells you it will be alright, is nice to the neighbors, keeps things tidy around the house, says things like "wait until your father gets home"

The republicans are like one's dad. Football, motorcycles, racing...hates the neighbors, but is nice because the wife will gripe, tells you to suck it up when you get a boo-boo, handles the bully down the street, goes to work at a job he hates, fixes things around the house, and is generally grumpy when it comes to your mom. Says things like "I don't care; ask your mother". "knock off all that noise", "stop whining"

Just another comparison.

Whaddaya think?

I don't know how much damage outing Valerie Plame did to our country, but the details coming from Libby's trial are shocking. The crooked manipulation of information is horrible.
