Are you still here?
Are you free?
Are you reasonably comfortable?
Are you posting on this system?
Are you answering any way you wish?
Is anyone shooting at you?
Can you walk down your hometown streets?
If you answer is "Yes" to most of these questions, then you are not in a Gulag, not in a Concentration Camp, and not living under a Dictator.
That should mean that the government is good.

O.K. junior---here's your education in a nutshell. Gov't as atrocious as it may be, is the reality that dictates public policy and the figureheads that we vote into office make the decisions that affect all our lives by the simple act of stroking a pen to paper.
At present--our Executive Branch is the root of all evil, a group of sociopaths occupying space with every intention of undermining the constitution and the principles of the New Deal which led to the establishment of the Middle-Class and the most prosperous times any American has ever lived.
All the problems that our currently plagueing our current existance are the direct results of 25 years of conservative governance mixed in with the philosophic principles of the religious right--So why don't you kick back and reconsider your beliefs of the liberal agenda?

"Government is like a baby. An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other"
"Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidise it"
"The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.'"

Our goverment is good only if your happy with it and/or profiting from its policies and/or actions. Its bad if your the victim of its policies and/or actions. As for george bush. He should be tried for treason because he lied to the american people and got us into a war that we didnt need to be in. Yes. He's bad.

Yes.
Our system is good. IMHO, we have the best political system in the world and it works effectively.
The politicians, MOST politicians, are bad. They are self serving, biased, hateful, and criminal.
Until the people of the US stand up and vote their conscience and not what CNN, FOX, or MSNBC tell them to vote, we are doomed to an existence of hate and discontent.

We have the best government that money can buy.
Very few governments are better than the people they represent, or the lobbyists that control the show.
