yes, what that man did to that girl was heinous. And for all the people who are going to say oh it is against God's law, no where in the bible does it say not to be punished to the full extent for your actions. God destroyed two cities because of all the sin. Nuff said.

A nation that promotes civil liberties, justice and equality still has the death sentence?! **** even some third world countries abolished that .

thats some weird shiit right there.

Why is it that only some of your states have death penalties and others dont?

How many have been on death row to only be freed by DNA evidence, and how many were murdered by the state even though they were wrongfully convicted?

I hate Child rapists and child killers just as much as anyone, but when you start taking an eye for an eye the whole world will end up blind.

It would be a much better punishment to commit this criminal to a life of solitary confinement, no books, no TV, no basics,no parole ,regular beating and deprivations and no chance of escape.

Human rights abuses and torture are all the rage at camp delta so why not apply them to your own citizen criminals??

Emotionally I really want to, but intellectually I can't. I'm anti-abortion, so I don't feel that I can advocate the death penalty. I do think that there is a definite right and wrong, and that every state and commonwealth should adopt Jessica's Law. If you're going to destroy children like that, I think you forfeit your right to participate in mainstream society, and belong in prison for a very long time.

Definitely..... This animal was found guilty on all counts including first degree murder and didn't even bat an eye. This is not something that can be rehabilitated, this is sub human garbage that needs to be put down.

No, but I don't support the death penalty. Don't get me wrong, injuring a child, or killing someone is flat out bad and wrong, and I won't downplay that. However, because the death penalty is not applied even handedly, and I oppose killing of people, I much prefer the way they do things in Singapore.
