You have to go to the post office. They have a questionaire thing they review with you when you ship to an APO using customs.
They lady on the top is wrong. For MILITARY APO/FPO addresses since 9-11 the policy is that they packages must be brought to the post office in person. That is IF the person you are sending it to IS overseas or on a ship.

Actually, you have to bring it to a post office. They stamp the customs form and review it to make sure everything is filled out. I have asked before if I can just do it myself and they say NOPE. I can't even use the self-service machine or the pick-up service because of it.
Okay, I checked usps.com and you don't have to go to the post office unless you are shipping to zip codes: 093XX and 964XX.
I ship to 093XX so I've always had to go in.
DnB probably isn't in a war zone.

Ok, I have to say that GAI is right on this. Packages must be brought in person to the post office, either by you or someone else, especially to war zone areas.

You can ship to an APO from anywhere. It's just like a regular American address.

If it has the correct postage on it, it shouldn't be a problem.
