I know someone that is fighting extradition in North Carolina to Missouri. How long does it usually take to extradite? He has been held in a North Carolina jail for almost 6 weeks! Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

How many of you are aware of the origin of Bush's family fortune? Do you realize that Bush's grandfather, Prescott Bush's company/assets was seized because of financial dealing/funding of the Nazi party...while we were at war with them. On October 20, 1942, under authority of the Trading with the Enemy Act, the U.S. Congress seized UBC and liquidated its assets after the war. The seizure is confirmed by Vesting Order No. 248 in the U.S. Office of the Alien Property Custodian and signed by U.S. Alien Property Custodian Leo T. Crowley. The assets were held by the government for the duration of the war, then returned afterward For it, he was reimbursed $1,500,000. These assets were later used to launch Bush family investments in the Texas energy industry. What do you think about this?

President Bush is currently visiting several Central and South American countries. At almost every country he visits there are massive demonstrations, some turning violent, like in Brazil. Some protests went as far as burning US flags that were emblazoned with swastikas.

My question is what precisely are they demonstrating against? I have not been able to find any particular message that they want to convey here. Most of their signs say something along the lines of “Bush go home.” Also, why is there so much resentment of the USA in Latin America? I understand the US has manipulated some Latin American governments in the past with the CIA, but I don’t know to what extent. Is this a part of, or all of the anger seen in the last few days?

I think I’m missing what’s really driving their anger here, so I hope someone can help me fill in the blanks. Serious responses ONLY please. If you’re going to say something like “Bu$h wantz all teh oils!!1111” then don’t bother answering.

Were being fed this BS--WTF!! How can you not see this as distraction by the Oil lobby to justify the the price increases???

What are we all night blind and the increased daylight will cause us to drive more? This is absurd. Since when does DST set the production levels? Give me a break. 20 years of driving and I've never heard of this excuse before---What gives?

I bought the car almost 3 weeks ago.

and theyre are penalties and payments still due towards the car and the dmv will not allow me to register it into my name until he has had that other person's name transfered into his.
I asked him about it. and he told me that the dmv forgot to transfer the files.
YEAH RIGHT!!!

can i sue him?can he be prosecuted?
because now the car he sold me broke down, the engine blew . He said that it's my fault and i caused the damages. thats ridiculous!!! He's the one who was giving false advertisement. And he doesnt want to refund my money. $5000

I dont think he was honest with me from the start. And If the car was registered in my name it would be a different story. I would take care of the repairs ect.... i really feel like he betrayede me. And i dont think that i am responsable for the way the car is acting. he told me it was in SUPERB condition!

how can i go about handeling this??? and taking this to a superior court?

So one of my worst fears happened over the weekend... I got caught shoplifting. It was nothing big, not a big deal at all... But I was forced to wear uncomfortable handcuffs while I waited four hours for my mom to come and pick me up.

I can't believe that in today's society we still resort to such barbaric methods. Handcuffs hurt, leave marks, and make you very uncomfortable. I think it's time that police need to realize that diplomacy is more effective than painful physical restraints.

Government to jack up the state taxes to its residents of gas because of tourist that visit such states as Florida etc. Should it not be that residents should not have to pay extra for gas taxes only out of state tourist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We call agree that George W. Bush is the greatest president since America's founding in 1776, but what makes him so? Is it the fact that he's a devoted Christian, his talent for political leadership, or just the fact that he loves America so much???

I know that most people equate the Nazi's with right wing politics but I believe that the left has more in common with the Nazi.
