We certainly should pull out of NAFTA before the borders are officially opened and we are forced to use a unified currency (the Amero). And will have a joint military, police force and border patrol with Canada and Mexico. If one looks at NAFTA Plus that is scheduled to happen in 2010. Just go to the NAFTA website and see for yourself.

We should still allow businesses to operate freely there as their economy needs any help it can get.

The real danger is that all three countries will be governed by a single government that is already in place due to NAFTA and already has it's own judicial system as well. So look out the North American Union is coming soon to a country near you.

Hello,

You asking this question is nice, but it will never happen.

NAFTA is here to stay. That is why GW is not doing a darn thing to "secure" our borders. He, along with the other Yahoo's, did I say Yahoo's?, want to bring all the nations together to create a One World Government, aka, A New World Order. You know, like Jr's Daddy spoke about in 1990 at his inaugural speech.

Drug trade, who do you thinj is bringing in the drugs to our nation? The CIA, which works for our government. Do some research on this topic. It wil give you a warm and fuzzy feeling all over.

I can see you are a dreamer. It is time to wake up and smell reality. It only took me until 2003 to realize what our government leaders are doing to us. In Plain Sight!

Hope this helps you.................... :-O

That would solve nothing. Instead of close to the border, those companies would build in Mexico thus hurting our economy. Nothing will ever slow the drug trade down until drugs are legalized or drug trade is punishable by death, first time offense. (I'm sort of questioning on legalized drugs, but the drugs would be of good quality and there wouldn't be any meth labs and unnecessary deaths because of them)

Keep going, your onto something there. Consevatives love to blame Clinton for NAFTA--too bad they didn't regulate it, oversee it, or close the loopholes that enabled the mass migration of our companies to Mexico. Our Border Allie and yet we have very little in the way of Diplomatic negotiations regarding Labor Standards and Pollution laws.

I think NAFTA was a big mistake, inviting large corporations to move to where they can, exploit workers even more cheaply than they can exploit people here in this country. Anything that invites or encourages outsourcing of jobs is bad for this country and for the people here! *sm*
