Government to jack up the state taxes to its residents of gas because of tourist that visit such states as Florida etc. Should it not be that residents should not have to pay extra for gas taxes only out of state tourist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tax burdens are the problems we all face--as an American I say we pay and do our share to cut back a little to save in other ways--we can't fight city hall...so be smart and think of ways to consolidate trips, walk, or take the bus once in a while. No one pays more to live than us in New Jersey.....we are taxed and prodded for money from every direction--so we got smart here......we car pool, we bike....hey it doesn't hurt to try.Personally, I do all my shopping errands with the fire dept car on duty---just sneak in and getter done.

It's up to the state to set state taxes.

And states are not allowed to discriminate between in-state and out-of-state consumers, with very specific exceptions. That's a constitutional requirement.

No, I feel that you should pay all the taxes that your ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES impose on you and tourist
