What are your views on Chuck Hagel?
It looks like he's about to toss his hat into the Presidential ring.
I disagree with him 95% percent of the time, but I've always had a great deal of respect for the man.
He's always struck me as being honest, honorable, and truly caring about this country.

As a Liberal,I'll be honest and say if his name is on the ballot come the General Election,it would be really hard to not vote for him.

What are your views on him?How do you think he stacks up against the rest of the Republican field?
And would he get your vote?
Thanks.

The United Nations charter has a provision which was agreed to by the United States formulated by the United States in fact, after World War II. It says that from now on, no nation can use armed force without the permission of the U.N. Security Council. They can use force in connection with self-defense, but a country can't use force in anticipation of self-defense. Regarding Iraq, the last Security Council resolution essentially said, “Look, send the weapons inspectors out to Iraq, have them come back and tell us what they've found -- then we'll figure it out from there.” The U.S. was impatient, and decided to invade Iraq -- which was all pre-arranged of course. So, the United States went to war, in violation of the charter. Making the war in Iraq an “illegal” war.

I hear people saying we have been there too long. Are they aware we're still in Germany, Korea, Japan, etc. This is not about 5 years, 6 years, etc. Its about being there in the region for a very long time. Possibly forever. Yes, as long as there is oil and the world needs it. Making the middle east stable, makes the world more stable. Period.

Not just in their answers, but what about respect for the office of President? I was taught to respect the office, regardless of the party. I may dislike a President, but I have never HATED a President. Not so on the left. No respect. These are the same kids, now adults, who were raised by hippies so it makes sense. But there teaching their kids the same behavior. The President is always capitalized. Bush should be capitalized. Its basic. Not doing so is anti-American and low class. Really shows what level of intelligence we are dealing with here on yahoo.

This is the story:

I went to a club for the first time in 3 months to meet someone. The cover was $6 and since I only $5 on me, the lady at the door told me to go to the bar and use my bank/debit Visa card to get the $6 there. I had $8 and change in my bank (had not received my paycheck yet) . The bartender wanted to keep the card , but I asked for it back and he ran the reciept and had me sign. Since it was dark and I was thinking I was signing for $6 dollars I did not ask anything and signed.

Guess what? There was $11 charged to my card and now my bank account is overdrawn $2.50 and I will have a $32 bank fee now!

Just in case , he was clever and printed up a reciept showing $11 dollar charge and I signed for it, can I still dispute this?!!
