I myself was sexually assaulted. I was much younger and to this day I still think about it . But counseling helped me through alot. Along with writing a letter to the accuser , it helps get out the pain they caused.

She needs to get counseling ASAP, check local listings for trained sexual assault counselors. I had a friend go through the same thing, and though she sought counseling, she still hasn't really gotten over it...I don't think any victim ever really gets over something like that. Best thing you can do for her is reccomend that she see a trained professional(these are often available free to those who need it, I know our college has several trained counselors) and just be there for her and let her know that you are there for her...that's all you can do, good luck.

File a case of sexual assault against her boyfriend so that she will be able to get the justice that is due her.

Try to get her to talk to her parents. If she doesn't want to do that, she should talk to her guidance counselor or a teacher that she trusts. The first step to getting help and moving forward is to tell someone.

Tell her you will support her in her decisions no matter what she does and you only want the best for you. However, you must gently try to get her to tell someone.

She needs professional help. Encourage her to tell her parents, a trusted teacher, or school counselor. You will not be able to help her get past this on your own; it is far to complex.

She hurts so much she keeps you tied to her pain. Please.......If she was assaulted by her boyfriend for 10 months he would be in jail.
