I say their get up and go has got up and gone.
what the uk needs is a woman in power, just like maggie thatcher, I was only a kid when she was prime minister, but she got some stuff done.
I say try a woman next.

The thing is that we don't get listened to by our Government.
I am absolutley fed up with paying higher and higher taxes and not being happy about what i see my money being spent on. My Council Tax has been hiked up again to help pay for the Olympics. How will the Olympics benefit me in any way? It won't. It will just make the property prices higher in my area and make it even less likely for me to buy a house, yet i am being forced to pay for the Olympics.
How about the Millenium Dome? No-one wanted that, yet they went ahead and built it anyway at the taxpayers expense and now it isnt even being used and no-one wants to buy it.
I have lost all faith in the Government. I won't vote for Labour ever again. I will never vote Conservative. And i will note vote Lib Dems either for them to give our country to Europe.
I think this is why most people have given up. Whats the point in speaking out when all the politicians do is shout us down thinking they know what is best for us!
Rant over - lol !!!!!!!

As opposed to Labour's barmy taxation of everything?
Yes, it's daft. The only way it could ever hope to work is if the extra revenue goes towards researching less damaging fuels and energy resources. But the idea of actually funding science? It'll end up paying for the Olympics.

Problem is they all have advisers, who have no idea what the people of this country, want or need. All the politicians need to do is walk down any high street and ask the people. Most are p iss ed off with immigration, next moronic behaviour,Then the state of schools and the NHS.The fact that 99.9% of all tax collected is wasted. Then you may come across a man with a beard who is having a panic attack about CO2 and carbon foot prints. They think we are all stupid and believe this rubbish about Global warming.........

i agree with Lynn over the Maggie proposition.
The problem is all the women the socialists have selected into power positions have mainly all fallen by the wayside.
To answer the main question, it appears that because of us having a dumbed down education system we have all been told by the government on how we are supposed to think.

Yes. A bit like P.C. isn't it?
Combination of ideas makes for a sorry state of affairs in this Country. Where did we go wrong?
I have no doubt there are 'moles' working out what idiotic plans they can promulgate to confuse and worry the public more.
