Just recently some muslim cashiers at a Target store in Minnesotta refused to ring up pork products because they said it is against their religion. Also, some muslim cabbies also refuse to take passengers who carry alcohol because it is against their religion. What about those christian pharmacists who refuse to hand out birth control pills because it is against their beliefs? How far is this gonna go? Should the government do something about this? How much time do we have left before america becomes hostage to religion?

It's highly debatable whether the Olympics could be considered a 'good cause' and the games certainly don't qualify as a charity, so why does this government think it's OK to help themselves to lottery funds to pay for the Olympics ?
Should we boycott the National Lottery ?

Browsing through various news sites, I come across this headline:

"Bill Clinton to N.Y. Times: Stop Picking on Hillary"

So, slick willie wants to censure the media when it's not in his favor, but is all for them lashing on anyone else as long as it doesn't affect him pesonally?

Give me a break, Clinton is a loser.

If you don't agree with them fine, but everyone in this country is intitled to their own beliefs and opinions, and they have the right to believe what they want. If you disagree then fine, but why force someone to believe in one way that they don't. Doesn't that take away ones free will in a free democratic country?

Please let me know if you have! I need similar stories! I'm in the middle of trying to get SOMEONE to look into the fact that Im a victim of fraud under a rent-to-own scheme by Colorado State Business Group aka CSBG aka Core Realty. There's alot of web info about rise in mortgage & appraisal fraud & articles on how all these various politicians intend to do something about it, meanwhile, I cant get ANYone to look into my particular case. I "bought" a house from CSBG (Chris Stiebler, Andy Klein, owners) which I was to rent from them for 1 year, paying 1% of THEIR purchase price (claims paid 140k but I found out they paid 112k) which was $1400/mo. (I was to get 1/2 back for down pymnt- DIDN'T).At the end of the year I was to buy the house from CSBG for 15% above THEIR purchase price OR the appraised value, WHICHEVER WAS LESS. The appraiser THEY hired appraised at 165k. I found out @ refi later that appraisal was inflated & value @ the time was closer to 130K. I WAS SCREWED! HEEEEELLP!

Is important to stop global warming? We all know it is, but the issue of global warming is not considered a major issue by the US government. Why do you think so?

Yes, rape is a problem across the globe. But, why in India is the family, the police, and the courts all against the girl from standing up and revealing the rapists?

Why do ideals of family status surpass a woman's need for safety and security?

Indians objected to the inauguration of Sonia Gandhi as Prime Minister because she had Italian origins, despite the fact that she has spent more of her life in India than in Italy as well as the fact that she can speak hindi better than many Indians can.

Yet, Indians had no problem appointing a MUSLIM MAN AS PRESIDENT - Somebody that (theoretically at least) was supposed to leave india in 1947.

If the foreign ethnicity of a person DOES constitute an encumbrance in their rise to leadership, so why then the foreign religion of somebody DOES NOT constitute an encumbrance?

Do you agree with me that such a state of affairs corroborates the hypocritical nature of Indian politics as well as the hypocritical nature of "some" Indians?
