Some list terrorism as the #1 threat to them. Is it our media that makes them think terrorism is the worst threat facing them? Is it politicians that benefit from the fear of terrorism and global warming that use it to get votes as they tax you for safety and freedom from this overexagerated boogeyman?

With Gordon Brown coming in, I suspect that will be the future of the trans-atlantic alliance. Of course America and Britain will remain allies but with the Franco/German wedge that will be driven between us,....well...I just dont know.

like the army has the pays program what programs does the corps have for marines. I don't wanna fight in iraq and then get back and the only people who will hire me is burger king. I'm gonna go back to school but it would be nice to have a semi high paying job afterwards.

I know the First Amendment in the Bill of Rights provides for freedom of the press, but when a defendant faces possible imprisonment, loss of assets, or defamation of character due to public opinion influenced by the reportings of the press, how can one be considered "innocent until proven guilty" and in the end receive a fair trial?

The technology is available. Security shouldn't be an issue. Most of use the internet to submit our tax returns to the IRS. No major issue there. Why not vote online?

for every opinion there always seems to be some other group of people who say that they are right and the other person is wrong. take conspiracy theorys for instance: how 911 was set up by the government- the video loose change makes it seem totally possible but then there are people that say it was photoshopped and it was all to make the government look worse than it is

then there is global warming.is it the scientists who are trying to tell the truth and the republicans that are covering it up to make themselves look good
or are the scientists making it up to make everyone vote for the democrats

there is also the whole thing about how the government controls us, like in the book "1984"

I would think there is some kind of paperwork from the military giving permission or a clearence to the enlisted person to be able to take a job before retirement. It would protect the military member as well as the company...Any info on this is appriciated.

Do you think that if a child gets caught with a gun and they got it because thier parents did not lock thier guns up should the parent face jail time?

NO MY CHILD WAS NOT CAUGHT WITH A GUN!!!

I saw a story on the news where an 11 took a gun on the bus shoot the gun into the roof of the bus no the bus driver never stop just went on and dropped the kids of at school where the 11 year old gave the gun to a 14 year old then the police found it in a locker both kids were charged and they don't know yet where the gun came from.
