It depends how old she is.

0.5 week’s pay for each full year of service where age during year less than 22
1.0 week’s pay for each full year of service where age during year is 22 or above, but less than 41
1.5 weeks’ pay for each full year of service where age during year is 41+

There is a calculator available at the DTI website to work out how much she is entitled to. It can be found here:

Depends on her age and weekly earnings at time of redundancy. Im going to guess your mum is 60?....she will be entitled to 16 1/2 times her normal weekly pay (but the weeks pay can not be more than £290.00 per week gross. If she is younger I can email you a table to work it out for yourself if you like? You can email me at ladyothflekae200@yahoo.co.uk. Alternatively....visit your local CAB

Depends on her age. If she's over 40, she would be entitled to about £7,500 statutory, but many employers pay more than the statutory minimum.

She should be entitled to £1000 per every year worked.
However, try to find out if she's in the Union as they might be able to arrange something for her like redundancy package.
