So what happens to you if you don't vote for Fidel?

A prison sentence as a dissenter. Works for 99.9999% of your dictators. One has "passed" away last year or it would be 100%

I do not think he would win - he is 80 years old and not in the best of health. I do not think people of Cuba are so dumb to give their votes to him.

HOWEVER!!! Growing up in Russia (USSR to be honest about age) we were not surprised that Brezhnev, who could barely work 2 hours a day because of his health and age, would keep winning one election after another.

So in regards of Castro, we all may be up for one big surprise with this old fart.

You can vote for anybody the Communist party runs. I am pretty sure Castro is running unapposed (who else would bother?), but there will be some positions that voting will actually count for something.

Just propaganda to make it seem like there a democracy. I think Castro will lose.

well good for him! Bush sought re-election in '04 didn't he?
and certain of those who DID vote weren't counted.
