I hv read dozens of "convincing" articles about the possibilities of the US-govt involvement in the attacks. They really seem to make some sense to me. Does anyone who is better enlightened in these matters shed some light. If its true then whats going on?

OK. I just returned from a trip to LA. I am understanding more on why the left coast people think there is such a gap between the haves and have nots. My observation in LA this last week (but I have been there many times before) was that in LA, you are either rich or a bum...there is not much in between.

I often see the argument on here: the middle class can not afford to live...

Where I am from, there is a much larger middle class, who live very comfortably...not in someone's converted garage for 1200 per month.

My question is: Do you feel that the disparity between classes is the same in the rest of the country as it is in Southern California?

I think most Republicans want everyone in America to have health care, they just don' the government responsible. Do you want the same institution handling your health care that:

Can barely provide adequate public schools for children?
Has mad a mockery of Social Security, which is quickly spinning down the drain?
Can't handle the WAR IN IRAQ (you Liberals should understand that)
Can't keep homeless people off the streets, and in shelters?
Couldn't rescue the people from New Orleans? (yes, I am from there, and I know it was the local govt's fault, but since people always blame Bush, I'll please them)?
Can't keep child molesters off the streets?

Do you REALLY want these people handling healthcare? I mean, does the government do ANYTHING competent?

How about a $3000 tax credit (or however much for a good health plan. Mine is about 3 grand) for all individuals? Let THEM decide which plan to choose.

Liberals are all about personal freedom. So let us have the FREEDOM of health care.

Even though the vast majority of women who have sex do so electively, enough without precaution, doesn't that mean they've already chosen, with the possibility that the end result is a baby?

I thought healthcare meant treatment of illness and disease and preventative diagnostic care.

Is therefore, an elective abortion treating a 'disease'? Clearly not. So, why define it as a medical procedure? It sure 'cures' a problem, though not a medical one.

I am subleasing a room in a house to tenant. This tenant has recently moved out, and we refunded him the total security deposit on good faith. He is now refusing to pay his last utility payment for a month when he was still living in the house, even though the terms of the lease state that he is responsible for his share. Additionally, he was paid the security deposit back by the new roommate taking his place, and it has come to light that he has charged her more than he paid for his security deposit- essentially stealing from her.

Do I have any course of action to get the utilities from him or the money he extorted from the new roommate?

In my International Relations Class, we were fooling around with the question "How to achieve peace in Iraq" A suggestion was to suppress opposition.

So, my question is "Do you think the American PEOPLE, would be okay with a hypothetical destruction of an Iraqi city, why or why not?. Use a Hama style destruction, if you know what that is.

I live in Southern California and deportation seems to be in after upteen years of iggnoring it.. well I think that it sucks for people that have children here and been here rather illegal or not. well. look the point of the question what if you have established a job or career down here.. do you have to start all over in mexico or is there some sort of housing and assistance program for people that get deported? if not that is a really jacked up thing to do to people. Especially knowing that the government allowed this sort of behavior for years.. now they want to act...LMAO @ US government... i feel bad if people are deported who has never committed a crim other than to seek a better life for there family. can you tell me if they are sent back to start over with no place to go?

I know somebody who was hit by a car and was taken to the hospital unconscious...when he left the hospital they billed him $350,000 since he was uninsured. Is it legal for the hospital to charge him $350,000 over something he had no control over. This is financially running him....any ideas as to what he can do?

He is about to file for bankruptcy...but I feel that the hospital is trying to cheat him out him. Please help.
