"They hate us for our freedom" is my favorite jingoism from the Bush junta.
It is almost true! They do hate us. Just replace freedom with "mindless, conspicuous consumption while children starve, West Bank elderly are crushed by American made Israeli bulldozers, and multinational corporations rape the planet we all share of resources."
The good thing is Bush Co. has tried hard to address theses issues. They have destroyed Habeas Corpus and restricted freedom of speech for dissenting voices. This reduction of our American freedom should reduce the amount they hate us - Right?
