If you are discussing "illegal immigrates", then yes they are criminals. it is illegal a.k.a. against the law for any person to enter the United States with a travel visa (a time limit applies), a green card (to work & live for an extended period of time), or a citizen. If our borders were open to everyone with no control, we would have a control over terrorist, & our financial stability would be threaten to pay for social benefits caused by large numbers of immigrants. The US has controlled the number of immigrants since shortly after being formed. They broke the law when they came into the US without following our laws. They break the law when they drive without insurance & licenses, they break the law when they assume false names & they break the spirit of the law everytime they use goverment funds to pay for their medical bills, food stamps, school bills &etc - these are for law abiding & tax paying citizens not criminals.

Because, sadly our politicians care more about potential new votes than being beholden to the wants and needs of the voters that put them there. The vast majority of this country wants the border to be secure and the fact that it is not is just idiotic.
Quite frankly I think we should all sign a contract with our government that if they do not fix the problem by a certain date that every name on it will march to the border with a single brick and a bucket of mortar. I figure the wall would be done by lunch time and we could have one hell of a cookout before the trek home.

Good question. They need to be sent to do it the right way. It is about time that our ELECTED officials started to listen to these United States Citizens!
If they break the law, then send them back so they can do it LEGALLY! I am NOT against immigration...just illegals!

If they choose to enter this country without documentation, then they become criminals by their actions. They need prison and deportation, not legalization.
