if some one from russia came to live in uk can they start work leggaly straight away or do they have to wait for length of time

If you have a UK citizenship or visa and work permit you can start work right away. If you dont have a work permit or a UK citizenship you might struggle...

Russia is not part of the European Union so they can't work PERIOD, unless they are working for the Russian Mafia as Sex Traffickers. I'm pissed off because my sister in law is Ukranian & the most workshy person I have ever met. A lot of "illegal" Ukranians in the UK are here claiming to be Polish.
Ship them all out let them all survive in their Eastern hellholes on one potato a day between a family of 10!

They cannot work unless the have an entry visa or form of leave to remain that allows them to work.

first it can take months to six to be excepect to mello in to customs some more then a year , but if learned skill befor done it can be as three months not to say the lang as english to learn some dont know the book anymore as lords has a high to mellow it in, but all has ago under rules of two year stay to be or not to be
, say if them settle in.

Don't worry about anything like that - by their own admission, this government has no idea how many immigrants we have and doesn't care. They only send you a little text message, just to ask you to report in but that's about it. Welcome to Britain.
