Both were criminal acts, they always will be
Clinton lied about a b1owjob
Libby lied about something that compromised national security?
Which is worse, you tell me? Clinton was impeached but not convicted. Libby was found guilty, shouldn't he go to jail? Should Bush pardon him? I say no, go straight jail.

perjury
the crime of swearing on oath that something is true which one knows to be false, or of telling a lie when under oath to tell the truth.
Definition from The New Lexicon Webster's Dictionary.
Perjury IS a crime, punishable by imprisonment, when done in a court of law. Doesn't matter if you are a liberal or a conservative.
The difference between Scooter and Bill is that Bill was lying about his personal life and Scooter was lying about something that was directly related to his duties. One is really none of anybody's business and the other is everybody's business.

So what you are saying is that Libby should get off and Clinton should have been sent to prison? Let's see, purgery about outing a known CIA agent who is active in the field against purgery about a B.J. What is more damaging to the country? Which is more treasonist?

Clinton lied about having an affair. How many people doe you know when to JAIL for an affair? There is no law on going to jail for that, but he was censured for it.
"Scooter" Libby (Bush and Cheney actually) put someone's life on the line, regardless of what she did at work, by exposing her as working for the FBI. That IS a law, therefore, that IS a crime.

purgery is so common place now, every time a cop takes the stand they begin to lie, Bil should have told it like it was, but then all politicians lie, ones word doesnt mean what it used to which is a shame, purgery should still be a crime

Libby will be a hero for lying just like Oliver North. Watch for the Libby book next year after the pardon.

She had a desk job.
Shed been outed by her husband long before this ever happened.
Their picture had been in a popular magazine together.
She suggested using here husband for the mission, and he was the one who wrote the op-ed in the New York Times about it.
She wasnt covert or in the field.
Honestly how far out in the public eye could these two have been and still characterize her as covert?
They set this whole thing up.
If a crime was committed in 'leaking' her name then why isnt Richard Armitage in jail?

He was involved in a treasonous act and lied about it. Bill was involved in an affair, which would have been a non-issue had the Republicans not been on a witch hunt to rid Bill. These are two completely separate issues.

Ya, think about it, if you lie to your mom that you didnt steal a quarter from here, its not great, but you wont go to jail. but if you lie that you didnt took a quarter from some before the Supreme Court its like telling your mom that you didnt steal the priceless family heirloom that would devastate her if she lost it. Its just where you lie that determines how big a deal it is. A little bit hypocritical, but arent we all?
