Colt makes the M-16, but the Marines dont use that rigle anymore.

Most of the M-16's and M-4's I have seen used by the Marines have been made by Colt and Bushmaster, both have a contract by the U.S. Government.

Colt Manufacturing and Fabrique Nationale Manufacturing Inc. as stated by the U.S. Army. I have personally seen several different M16's with different locations of where they were manufactured including California and Miami, FL. Though these had no manufacturer's stamp.

Actually, many different companies are under contract with the US Government for making M-16s. Colt is one of those companies.

Colt and alot are getting the M-4 which has a shorter barrel.
