The Constitution requires that a candidate for the presidency must be a "natural-born" citizen of the United States, at least 35 years of age, and a resident of the United States for at least 14 years.

Race and gender are not mentioned anywhere

Only if he's the best person for the job. I think by limiting choices that way you lose a lot of potential for a great leader in the presidency.

He is whiter than white, but certainly is NOT male.

If American history began with the illegally installed present occupant, (it doesn't and history has been more kind), then THAT experience should ALONE be the reason for the PROHIBITION of such a person as you describe. Actually I jest because your idea is fundamentally stupid and racist. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

Well, the grammer in your question shows your intelligence...

If you want a white male only to run for office, then stick with the group you are affiliated with - the KKK...

I think anyone who is qualified should be able to run. Now, I dont care for Hillary nor Barrack, but they have a right to be in the race.

NO! everyone should be able to run. For example, look deep deep deep deep inside yourself and see that Barak Obama(sp?) or H Clinton can probably do a better job that most people a being president. Better than some white male from Texas who doesnt have a clue about running a country, but somehow wins due to family name and radical opinions. ( and YES i mean BUSH!) So everyone should be able to run, regardless of color of gender

I don't care if they had a talking goat running for president so long as it was honest, had a plan for America, keeps us safe from the world of nuts around us.... And brings back morality to this great land.
