Yogurt slingers like you have no idea how many people adopt children. The lines at adoption agencies are longer than those at abortion clinics...but you don't care..you just dream of movie stardom and unlimited sex.

I'm not out to control who does or doesn't have sex.
But I will say this, if you peruse the "pregnancy" section of YA for a little while, it will become pretty clear to you that no form of birth control is 100% effective. Women get pregnant despite pills, condoms etc. So it is my personal belief that is a person is not ready to handle the responsibilities of pregnancy, then they aren't ready to have sex. I won't try to control other people, but I'm certainly willing to share my opinion.
Wolf - I saw a woman today who was rich and white and conservative and adopted a poor dark-skinned baby, and I can think of two others off the top of my head that I knew of growing up. Never say never.

I think they would be happy if the world was full of baby's that were stuck in foster care or caught in the system for their entire childhood instead of having an abortion. I also think that in some of their twisted minds, that if a woman was raped she should have the baby no matter what. Or if the woman was going to die because of the baby, they wouldn't care, and I think their statement would go something like this, "Well, at least the father would be able to hold onto something from his wife." They need to stop preaching to everyone who will listen, and find a new cause to complain about.

That is the ultimate goal for some of the religious people. Their idea is that every act of sex be open to reproduction so as not to interfere with what they perceive to be Gods plan.
That's why you see so many of them opposed to any form of birth control. They also believe God will provide for the many mouths of the children of married people, who, in their eyes are the only ones who should be having sex in the first place.
Many people from many walks of life adopt, not just the pro life nor do the pro choice turn away from adoption.
I do get a serious case of the ickies when women are told that they "should" or "must" have their unwanted babies because there are women who can't have their own. That just seems Orwellian to me.

I don't think it affects you since you like to sex with men. For those of us who actually want a say so in our childrens fate it is different. And by the way I would adopt and would support gays adopting rather than abortion.

Good point on the adoption front. It is amazing to me that more pro-lifers don't adopt. There are so many lives out there...already born...that need love and nurturing...but pro-lifers seem to be more concerned with protecting the lives of the unborn. Little hypocritical...

I have 4 adopted children. All of them are grown now.
Come back when you know what you are talking about.
P.S. It is better to stop having sex than go around doing all that killing.At least wrap that sucker.

I find it funny that pro-life people claim that people should have personal responsibility and that they don't require that same notion for themselves or for the President or their elected Republican officials. It's pretty hypcritical. I think that pro-life people would be happiest if they could control everything that goes on in the bedroom between 2 people or even one person for that matter.

If pro-choice people can't quit having unprotected sex, why don't they just get sterilized? Problem solved.

I agree with the adoption thing. you never see a rich ocnservative woman offering to adopt an impovrished baby- especially one of color
