Describe the present class structure of the US and identify major characteristics of the major classes?

The tiny middle class which gets smaller every day is supporting the rich and the poor. The poor through social programs the rich through tax breaks and loopholes, which in all honesty cannot be called "loopholes" anymore but 10 lane thruways! An entire country cannot be run on the backs of so few.
