Rumorama has it there was a move to stop the "C is for Cookie" song because it promoted unhealthy eating habits in children and contributed to childhood obesity. Cookie Monster is now singing the "Cookie's are a sometime treat" song and eating veggies.

Homelessness, poverty, war, elderly without prescriptions and some mental whacko group goes after Cookie monster because their kid is fat. What is the world coming to?

No, it was a decision by the Children's Television Workshop, who decided that encouraging children to eat more cookies was irresponsible dietary instruction. Now he sings that "Cookies are a sometimes food"

I sure hope not why are people even allowed to sue for these rediculous things. If you don't want to hear it or for some reason find it offensive turn the channel, is it that hard?

You can't sue a puppet. Besides, a puppet has no assets, and no lawyer I've ever met would waste his time on a defendant with no assets...
