WOW! What a new & original question! This is the 1st time I've seen it here (at least the 1st time in the past 10 minutes). We should want a GOOD president, regardless of gender. Since the only female running for president is a sociopath, I say not in 2008.

That depends on who the female is: I'd likely vote for Condi Rice but never Hillary.

What kind of mentality would suggest that just because a person is male or female they would all think alike or be qualified to lead the world's greatest super power?

Do any of you actually think that ANY of the former First Ladies didn't help, advise, or was a sounding board for the President??

Its not a Woman that you should wonder about ~ I hate to say it, but Do you think America is ready for a Black President??
There are still an awful lot of GOOD'OLE BOYS out there....
One of the BIGGEST things on many Americana's minds when JFK was running for President was the fact that he was a Catholic....

I don't want a female president, a male president, a black president, a white president, a Christian president, or a Mormon president. NONE of those are factors I consider in evaluating the PERSON running for president.

Sure why not? It would be an extremely significant historical event for this country, (USA) and I for one would love to be part of that. Hillary in 2008!!!

P.S.
Bill would be the very first, 'First Gentleman'! How cool is that?
