I'm sure some of you have seen this site:
http://www.zombietime.com/
though I've just viewed it for the first time. I am reasonably confident that the vast array pf pictures are real. So these people genuinely exist, in San Francisco at least. They are not liberals. They do not speak for liberals. They do not hold liberal beliefs. They do not represent mainstream liberal thought in any way. I don't know what I would call them, but the right needs to understand that these people constitute a tiny minority of a tiny minority. I'm afraid that most conservatives see these images and think that they represent mainstream liberal thought. Real liberals would never suport a message that brings shame and dishonor to the United States. Real liberals dislike fundamentalist muslims just as much (if not more) than they dislike the Bush administration. Just because Bush is in the wrong does not mean that muslim terrorists are in the right. These people are freaks.

Come on people! It discredits all liberals to be associated with this kind of crap. The truth is that, not so long ago, people in this country were allowed to be moderates and could express moderate beliefs. At that time, I never would have dreamed of calling myself a liberal. But the country changed. We had to choose sides. And those of us normal, happy, moderate people deeply resent the Foxnews nutcases on the right and the truthout.org nutcases on the left for forcing this state of affairs. WE, THE CENTER, USED TO BE THE DOMINANT MAJORITY. How all you polarized nutcases got in power, I'll never know...

Wolf,

You've been brainwashed by Fox news. Liberals are people who want the government to provide a broader array of social services for the entire populace. We don't advocate violent destruction of the government or sign pacts with muslim extremists. The vast majority of us are just like you...except we don't watch Fox news...

Fox news tells blatant lies. They know they are lying. They tell them anyway. They just don't care. Very Machiavellian. The ends justifies the means, and all. Other news organizations clearly have a bias, but at least they TRY to be objective and don't knowlingly lie.

The purpose of Fox news is to agitate all you simpleton right-wingers so that you will go out and vote for right-wing candidates who will lower taxes for big corporations and this nation's 1000 or so wealthiest families. That's it. That's all it's about. Wake up.

they are liberals... but they are WACKO... WAY OUT THERE liberals...

there are extremists in every party... and no they do not represent the vast majority of liberals or overall liberal thought...

I mean, those freaks that protest soldiers funerals... are conservative (they do it because they say the soldiers deserve to die, because America allows abortion)...

but they are the WACKO extremists conservatives that don't represent the mainstream conservatives...

both sides have their extremists... but we all have to realize that just because the extremists may be liberal or conservative... it doesn't mean all liberals/conservatives agree with them....

in fact, most are embarrassed by the EXTREMISTS... in both parties... and rightfully so

I checked out the website and viewed a few events. I'm shocked that these people even exist. I'm curious, if they hate their country so much, why are they still here? And OMG, they have pictures of Mohammed on their site... aren't they scared that the Muslim extremists are going to find and kill them. I didn't see any protests over that yet.

Let us please not forget that the world trade center and the USS Cole terrorist bombing occured during the CLINTON adminstration and he chose to do nothing about it. The only reason that the liberal Democrats hate Bush is because they didn't have the balls to do something about it but didn't want to lose face. Let us also remember that the Senate Intelligence Commitee had the same information that President Bush had before they voted "yes". Further, I don't know the man personnally but I'm pretty certain that he didn't say, "Hey guys, wouldn't it be cool to go ahead and bomb the S*** out of Iraq?" No one in that office would be that incompetent and be voted into office TWICE.

But back to the real "question". I've now seen both ends of the spectrum. I witnesses a KKK march down the streets of Vidor, TX in 1993. It was the most hilarious thing I've ever seen. The pure ignorance of some people in this country simply amazes me. I have to admit that I'm from the south and I work for a major oil company. We employ the best minds from all over the world. I know better than to prejudge anyone because the majority of the time they are way smarter than I am. These "people" that are on both ends of the spectrum are nothing but hate mongers and conspiracy junkies (and I say junkies because they can never get enough).

The problem with your statement is (and I'm not sure this is much of a question, but I'll let it go) that the ACLU, so called 'champion of rights', finds it wrong to profile people who would be likely to hijack an airplane based on what happened on 9/11. Nevermind that the fundamentalist muslims would want both you and me dead. Until liberals start speaking against the ACLU standing up for these terrorists, you're going to have a hard time convincing me.

Then let these REAL LIBERALS stand up and denounce these nut cases instead of hiding under their desks and making no comment or, worse yet, defending the nut cases by citing any positive thing that MAY be connected. Besides, although the numbers have dwindled, your contention that Bush is in the wrong is debatable. I said, in the wrong, not that he has not made mistakes. His strategy for Iraq is STILL correct and since he has changed some tactics his strategy may reach the goal.

So, you felt pressure to quit being a moderate and become a liberal. That's pretty lame.
I am a moderate. Have been a moderate all my life. And, I will die a moderate.
I hate to tell you this, but those people are liberals. They represent liberals. They are just as fanatic as any social conservative.

Does it matter? Liberals are a persecuted group in this country. Most of the people doing the persecuting don't know or understand half of what they're really about.

They appear to be liberals, tinfoil hats and all. This is exactly what liberals look and sound like. I read it here every day.

By the way were you in any of the pictures? You sound just like those you are saying aren't liberals.

No they are not liberals. They are pathetic freaks that escaped from a mental health facility.

Liberals have more class and dignity.
