Bush has basicly failed us again and bowed over to the democratic congress regarding this new legislation that is basicly a gay right bill, and now because of the "Don't ask don't tell" policy for gays in the military will be no more and we can have people openly being flamboyant and gay in the military, having boyfriends and snapping towls to the bottoms of Marines while in the showers. Bye bye military, bye bye US superiority, hello brave new world.

Its sad where our country has gone considering wher eit came from.

I was molested as a child and at the time, I lied about the incidences when it happend. I covered up a lot of what really happned because I was so ashamed of what really happened. Anyway, the guy got off and I want to re open the case after reading all the depositions. This time I was to charge him with what he really did so I can move on. I live in a different state now. Where do I begin?

Why in God's name are we even involved in the following paragraph?? If the US is spending $1 on this, it's too much. THIS IS NONE OF OUR BUSINESS!!!!!!

"Kim Gun-Ja, 82, from South Korea travelled to the US to testify to Congress about her role as a ‘comfort woman’ for Japanese troops during the second world war."

My right to choose, or my right to vote? Which one of my rights do you want to take away, 'conservatives'? thumbs up for ANYONE who answers the question.

Or just let those who make it a point to be informed about issues and candidates and care enough to vote do it?

Really, do you want some joker that signed up at some MTV sponsored concert and gets their news from the daily show and David Letterman deciding on leaders?

My sister's husband (they're separated, she has custody of their 3 girls) convinced her to file their taxes together since they were together most of the year & he always did their taxes. She found out that he got the check back on 2/16 and has been lying to her when she inquires about it. Her share is over 2 grand for federal alone. She has also learned that he has spent all but $700 of it. (He bought a plasma tv & new tempurpedic bed for him & his new girlfriend, among other things.)

Oh, and she held 3 jobs last year while he worked part time for most of it.....

The man is slime. When he steals from her, he steals from his own kids.

Regardless of the fact that she obviously shouldn't have filed w/ him (too late now) is there any legal recourse for her? Can she get her money from him through legal channels? Any advice on how she should proceed? Thanks!

I got a speeding ticket for going way over the limit a while ago, and they sentenced me to a year of probation for it, with the terms being that I have to meet with a probation officer once per month and I am not allowed to leave the state of North Carolina until August. I need to fly to Wisconsin however. My question is, would my airline ticket purchase go into any data record that my probation officer could find out about and know I left the state, or would I be fine to do that? thanks

so i was running late to my boyfriend's soccer game. i was speeding, im not going to lie, but i was only going about 63 or 54 in the 55.

an ohio state trouper came towards me, i braked slightly. he then proceeded to pull right in front of me, turn around, turn his light on and off again and pulled me over. he approached the car and i told him my drivers side window didnt roll down, so i had to open the door to speak with him. he then told me to drive off of the road into a residential drive way. he then approached my vehical and began questioning me. he asked if id ever had a ticket before, and i had not. then he stated he would leave me with a warning. then he asked if i knew how fast i was going. keep in mind that i was freaking out. i told him i knew i was going a little fast, maybe 65 or 70. he then said that 70 was 15 miles over the limit and said he changed his mind and was going to cite me.
he opened my pas.door wo consent, &shut my glove compartment door. what should i do?

I am 22 years old. I have no education other than my HS diploma & my Class B CDL. I drove a school bus for one school year in order to get "free training" for my CDL.
I drove for them from 9/05 until 6/06, 30 hours a week, $12 per hour. No benefits, sick days, holidays, etc. I could have gotten the same training for about $1,500 from a CDL driving school & not had the nightmare of driving the school bus (were we really that bad?).
Since June, I've been driving a truck for a linen service. Two 10 hour days, a day off, two 10 hour days, 2 days off. My days off are Sunday/Monday, plus Thursday.
I get $12 per hour & my employer offers health insurance for $145 per month. They pay $75 per month. The deductibles & co-pays are pretty high. We only get a few paid holidays & only 2 sick days. After a year, you get vacation of .015 hours for every hour worked. In a 2,000 hour year, thats 30 hours off. This job sucks. I need to get a better life. Should I join the military? There's not much else

Just because you think slavery is wrong, doesn't mean you have to force your opinions on me!

If you don't like slavery, don't have a slave, but don't keep me from having one either!!
