If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?
I think one dimensional pseudo-philosophical questions are lame and someone should throw a party where all long hair, acoustic guitar playing posers sit around asking them...then firebomb it.

No because inside yourself you know it is wrong and yet you still do it. That little guilt eats away at you and over time it makes you think about what you have done. Even if you don't completely break down over things it still eats at you and it lingers making you think about it.
