Even as a Dem, I'm gagging over which candidates are likely to get thru the primaries.
Hillary? she's unelectable, and i wouldn't vote for her anyway.
Obama? too young, inexperienced in D.C. workings.
Edwards? too provincial, not exactly a JFK statesman.
The Repubs are no better:
Rudy - unelectable, too much scandal in his past.
Romney - a wacko.
McCain - maybe the least objectionable of the lot.

Please don't tell me these are the best and brightest people in our country, I know for a fact they are not.

I am a live in cargiver in canada, my emplyer is taking me with them to the US, so I applied for one,I have just been issued a 1 year multi[ple entry US tourist visa but it has an annotation stating "Personal or Domestic servant of a non-immigrant alien". What does this statement mean? Can I travel to the US without my employer or I can travel to trhe Us only if my employer is around?please help, need some answers..thanks

Several Hispanic organizations are gathering steam to speak out against illegal immigration and I'd like to hear from them.

As an example, Rosanna Pulido represents "You Don't Speak For Me" in Chicago and has been inundated with support of citizens (who happen to be of Hispanic descent and speak both English and Spanish) in agreement with the cause.

FYI, I'm fully in favor of LEGAL immigration, provided immigrants learn English, pledge allegiance to no other nation but the U.S., believe in education over labor, resist gang affiliations, etc.

We are a nation of immigrants. Period. But there must be a system of law and accounting.

Like a old cars they brake down and yes you can fix them but in a few months they may brake down again. As for the war we could stay there in Iraq and fix all the problems over time but when we leave it is very possible that it will not say that way left it. It could brake down again like a old car. So my question is with the above thinking is it smart to hold on to something we have no control over?
